FACT SHEET Van/Mini-Van Titling and Registration Procedures PURPOSE This fact sheet explains the titling and registration procedures for van and mini-van type vehicles being titled and registered in Pennsylvania. DEFINITIONS Motor home: A motor vehicle designed or adapted for use as mobile dwelling or office; except a motor vehicle equipped with a truck-camper. Passenger Car: A motor vehicle, except a motorcycle, designed primarily for the transportation of persons and designed for carrying no more than 15 passengers including the driver and primarily used for the transportation of persons. The term includes motor vehicles which are designed with seats that may be readily removed and reinstalled, but does not include such vehicles if used primarily for the transportation of property. Truck: A motor vehicle designed primarily for the transportation of property. The term includes motor vehicles designed with seats that may be readily removed and reinstalled if those vehicles are primarily used for the transportation of property. GENERAL RULE Van and mini-van type vehicles are designed by vehicle manufacturers to be used in a multitude of different ways. Many vans are designed with seats for the transportation of persons much like a normal passenger car or station wagon; however, some are manufactured for use as a motor home, while others are designed simply for the transportation of property. Therefore, the proper type of registration plate depends on how the vehicle is to be primarily used. The following rules should help clarify the proper procedures required to title and register a van/mini-van: To register as a passenger car - The van/mini-van must be designed with seating for no more than 15 passengers including the driver, and used for non-commercial purposes. -

FACT SHEET EUROPE MAY 2021 MARKET MONITOR EUROPEAN PASSENGER CAR AND LIGHT-COMMERCIAL VEHICLE REGISTRATIONS: JANUARY–MARCH 2021 In March 2021, European new passenger car registrations were more than 60% higher than one year ago. With Europe in the middle of the first COVID-19 wave in March 2020, this of course is no surprise. But, in March 2021, new registration numbers were also about 60% higher than in February 2021. Thanks to the strong uptake in March, year-to-date (YTD) total registrations in Q1/2021 were almost the same as in Q1/2020. The average share of battery-electric vehicles increased to 8% and the average share of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles reached 9%. The FCA-Tesla-Honda pool had the highest share of battery-electric vehicles (25%) among all manufacturers in March. Daimler was focused particularly strongly on plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, reaching a share of 22%. The CO2 emission levels of most manufacturer pools decreased slightly and are now estimated to be, on average, about 4 g/km away from the regulatory 2021 target. Alert FCA-PSA Merger 1 November 2019 Executive Summary • Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and Groupe PSA have announced that they are working together towards creating one of the world’s largest automotive groups, with the aim of reaching a binding agreement in coming weeks. • The new entity would see global scale and resources owned 50% by Groupe PSA shareholders and 50% by FCA shareholders, with Carlos Tavares the merged group’s CEO. • This news follows on from the breakdown in merger discussions between FCA and Renault earlier this year. • LMC Automotive believes that there is a strong business case for such a consolidation; this latest merger announcement once again highlighting the cost pressures faced by the industry. • The high R&D expenditure relating to platform development, electrification, and other technologies, is expected to remain a drag on industry profitability over the course of the next decade, and further consolidation is likely. • A combined FCA-PSA group would become the fourth-largest OEM globally, with an annual production volume exceeding 8 million Light Vehicles per year. On that basis, it would surpass Hyundai Group, General Motors, Ford and Honda. • In Europe, the new group would challenge Volkswagen Group as the region’s number one OEM in sales volumes terms; however, in the world’s single largest vehicle market, China, FCA and PSA have both struggled to gain a footing, which this tie-up would not readily resolve. • Assuming a binding agreement is reached to create a new automotive giant, there remain significant execution risks associated with combining two sizeable entities. © 2019 LMC Automotive Limited, All Rights Reserved. -

China Light Vehicle Sales Update
December 2018 China Light Vehicle Sales Update Will the Current Boom in China’s NEV Market Stand the Test of Time? China’s Passenger Vehicle (PV) sales in November fell by 15.7% year-on-year (YoY) to 2.24 mn units, while the Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) sector increased by 5.1% YoY. This led to an overall decline in the Light Vehicle (LV) market of 13.7% YoY, on total sales of 2.54 mn units. PV production fell by 20.1% in the month, dragging year-to-date (YTD) growth down to -3.2%. Total LV output amounted to 24.04 mn units in the year to November, a decline of 2.6% YoY. The seasonally adjusted annualized rate (SAAR) of LV sales in November was 25.3 mn units, a 3.3% drop from October, the seventh consecutive month of month-on-month (MoM) decline, and a clear indication of an extended market downturn. The CADA dealer inventory index stood at 1.92 months at the end of November, 50% up compared with the same month last year, and 2% up on October. The rate was still above the warning level of 1.5 months and much higher than the levels recorded in the month of November over the last six years. The considerable pressure exerted by such inflated inventories on OEMs will continue to impact wholesales in December 2018 and into the first quarter of 2019. The decline in the PV market in November came as little surprise, given the elevated base set in the same month of 2017.
