This falls to be dealt with under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. We have 47 manned or staffed ports of entry as listed below: - Heathrow – all terminals, Gatwick, Brussels, Calais, Coquelles, Dunkirk, Paris, Bristol, Dover, Falmouth, New Haven, Plymouth, Poole, Portsmouth, Southampton, Ramsgate, Exeter, Newquay, Weymouth, Bournemouth, Birmingham, Cardiff, East Midlands, Felixstowe, Harwich, London City, Luton, Norwich, Stansted, Southend, Tilbury, Belfast Airport, Lerwick Ferry Terminal, Inverness Airport, Aberdeen Airport, Edinburgh Airport, Glasgow Airport, Prestwick Airport, Blackpool Airport, Newcastle Airport, Teesport (port), Durham Tees Valley Airport, Liverpool John Lennon airport, Manchester Airport, Doncaster Robin Hood Airport, Hull (port), Leeds Bradford Airport. Border Force staff may be deployed to other ports within their region when necessary. There are no borders or airports that have had the border control sub contracted out to security companies/agencies. If you are dissatisfied with this response you may request an independent internal review of our handling of your request by submitting a complaint within two months to the address below, quoting reference 22398.
