CANCELLATION. The organizers reserve the right to cancel or postpone the event should circumstances develop beyond their control. If possible, all entrants will receive advance notice of such action and advice on refund arrangements. For event status contact the Registrar or Race Chairman. 3. CAR ELIGIBILITY (RUN GROUPS ARE LISTED IN APPENDIX A). Cars from all eligible classes have been grouped into five run groups (1 thru 5) for this event. Classes from several sanctioning organizations have been incorporated into this structure. The complete list of eligible cars is shown in the Run Group Table in Appendix A. This is a non-point, non-championship race event. Efforts have been made to closely group cars, however, this is a for-fun event and there is no guarantee of competitiveness. The organizers reserve the right to move classes into different run groups to allow greater participation. Cars classified by all road racing sanctioning organizations are invited to compete. A substantial number of active classes have been incorporated into the Run Group Table. Requests for additional classifications may be submitted to the Race Chairman with the appropriate documentation. No class will be added after April 15, 2015. Cars listed will be accepted with the following provisions: • OTB decals as provided must be displayed. • Cars must meet the minimum safety requirements of the organization that classified the race car. • Current car logbooks from the appropriate organization must be presented in Tech, however, an additional inspection, on the discretion of the Chief Steward or Tech Inspector may be required. • Competitors must have a copy of their appropriate class specifications in their possession during the event and must make them available to race officials upon request. Tires for this event are open to all race appropriate tires. 4. DRIVER ELIGIBILITY. The event is open to holders of all licenses eligible for regional competition in SCCA, NASA, IMSA, PCA, VRG, VSCCA and BMWCCA. Drivers must hold valid current licenses. NOTE: license holders with FIA licenses from foreign countries must have a permission letter from their ASN (issuing club) and a copy must be submitted with entry. 5. ENTRIES. The entry form will be posted on the event page on the OTB Promotions website: www.otbpromos.net. Entries will be accepted beginning on February 15, 2015. They may be entered and payment made to MotorsportReg online registration system (motorsportreg.com) or mailed with payment to: Marilyn Freeman, 188 Rocky Hill Road, Brewster, MA 02631. 6. The event will be limited to 35 cars per group. The order of receipt of registrations will determine eligibility. The full ‘early bird’ entry fee is $275 for teams registering and paying by 5:00 p.m. on March 15. The entry fee is $295 for teams registering until April 15, 2015. Full payment is due by 5:00 p.m. on April 15, 2015. The fee for teams registering and paying on-site on the day of the event will be $325, by credit card or cash, and is strictly on an availability basis only. A $50 fee will be charged for insufficient funds. Registration is not complete or guaranteed until full payment is received. Entries submitted after the initial 35 applications (per run group) will be placed on a wait list and notified when space becomes available. At the time of the event, the first three teams on the wait list will be considered Reserve Teams and will be permitted to practice and qualify for the event. However, they will not be permitted to race unless a space becomes available through the withdrawal of one of the accepted teams prior to the race. Those Reserve Teams that practice and qualify but do not participate in the actual race will receive a refund of their entry fee less $100. Double Dippers: Double entries are allowed. Registering the same car and same driver in two classes. The cost to register for the second class is $150.00. 7. WITHDRAWALS AND REFUNDS. Refunds are guaranteed with written notice of cancellation received by the OTB Promotions Registrar prior to Sunday, March 15, 2015. Notifications must mailed to Registrar, OTB Promotions, 636 Pendleton Hill Road, North Stonington, CT 06359 or by email to [email protected]. Refunds less $50 will be processed within 21 days after the event. 8. REGISTRATION. Sign-in and on-site registration will be in the Guest Registration Building at the track entrance. Participants will be asked to sign a track waiver as they enter the facility, also. Registration will be open as listed in the schedule. All persons attending the event must register and sign the release during these hours. At other times check at the Registration Center for registration information. The organizers reserve the right to request cash payment. 9. ENTRANT. Each team must designate an Entrant who will be the contact person both pre-event and post event. The Entrant must be a member of the crew; team names, business names, etc. cannot be listed. The email address and mailing address on the entry should be those of the Entrant and will be used for all official communications. The Entrant can be changed only with written permission from OTB Promotions. 10. MINORS. Minors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to sign a minor waiver or must present a notarized minor waiver. Note that no one under 16 years of age is allowed in hot areas including the Hot Pits and the Staging Area. Any drivers who are minors may enter the hot areas. IMPORTANT: Birth certificates will be required to verify the age of minors. A failure to provide a birth certificate at registration will result in credentials being denied for the minor. 11. SCHEDULE. The attached schedule (Appendix B) contains session times for the event. 12. RACE. The race length shall be the distance covered by the overall winning car beginning with an official race start (green flag) and ending when the overall lead car - still running - crosses the finish line after the posted race time. 13. SOUND CONTROL. Sound Control is in effect. The 2015 sound limit is 103 dB. The sound station will be located to the driver’s right on the front straight, just before start-finish. Whenever possible, a sign board with the word ‘Sound’ and a car number will be displayed at Start/Finish the first time that a reading over 103db is reported. This display, or lack thereof, is informational only and may not be protested. 14. SCALES. Scales will be available in the Tech Garage on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning until 9:30 a.m. All cars must display the correct minimum weight specified in their declared ruleset in a manner that is clearly legible to tech at the scales.

The car must be at rest for a minimum of 60 seconds during the pit stop. Any car failing to make a pit stop will be excluded from the results. Any car failing to make a pit stop within the pit window will incur a Drive-Through penalty. The exception to this rule will be the Algarve Classic Festival meeting. Separate pit-stop regulations will be published for this race. ELIGIBILITY The Historic Touring Car Challenge is open to Touring Cars complying with the following FIA regulations: Group A from 1st January 1982 to 31st December 1990; Group 2 from 1st January 1966 to 31st December 1981; Group 5 from 1st January 1966 to 31st December 1969; All cars must conform to the relevant sections Appendix ‘J’ of the International Sporting Code of the period; and to technical requirements of the current Appendix ‘K’ of the International Sporting Code.

This sport is very popular in many countries like Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Britain, Germany, Sweden and Norway. However, its speed cannot be compared with Formula One. The touring car series consists of one or more endurance races with time duration of 3-24 hours. Basically, the event starts with a standard body shell but racing equipment like engines, suspension, brakes, wheels, and tires are permitted. Races of touring cars are conducted on road courses and street circuits. There is a very little technical difference between racing cars and touring cars. A casual observer can never point out the difference between the two. Touring cars come from family cars like sedans, hatchbacks and do not support high technical level. Just like any other racing game, all the riders participating in this game focus on covering the road track within the shortest time span and be the first one to win the game. The riders have to be quick and sharp as there can be a margin of less than one-tenth of a second between the first three finishers. History The British Touring Car (BTC) Championship, commonly known as touring car series, was founded in 1958 as British Saloon Car Championship and was renamed in 1987. This car racing series is conducted every year in the UK and is governed by the TCA.     2020 MOTORSPORT AUSTRALIA NSW SUPERKART CHAMPIONSHIP K.1 ELIGIBILITY (i) The objective of the championship is to promote and foster the competition of racing cars complying with the Motorsport Australia regulations for Superkarts or who comply with class definition K.2(i). i) Any inspections shall be conducted by the chief scrutineer or his nominee in accordance with the provisions of the Motorsport Australia Manual. The following decisions were made: Member Advisory AS 1. #26392 (Jim Wheeler) Request to disable ABS on Spec Mustang Thank you for your letter. The committee American Sedan Advisory Committee recommends a change to the 2020 rules regarding the allowance of ABS braking systems on the Spec Mustang. Exact implementation is to be determined. The committee recognizes the Spec Mustang ABS system does not follow the current philosophy in the area of brake control, but feels it is part of the balance of performance of that particular classification. We are pursuing options for the SMG competitors for the 2020 season. We are committed to maintaining parity amongst the competitors, while encouraging participation with existing cars.
