(2) For each of the 10 suppliers outlined in Question 1 above, where are the guideposts and road signs manufactured by that supplier? (3) For each of the 10 suppliers outlined in Question 1 above, where are the materials used in the guideposts and road signs sourced by that supplier? Answer— I am advised: Transport for NSW does not directly engage suppliers for guideposts and road signs in the Greater Sydney metropolitan area, this is managed by maintenance contractors, Ventia Boral Amey and DM Roads. Guideposts and road signs in regional and outer metropolitan areas are provided by local suppliers. Some of the larger regional suppliers are located in New South Wales and Victoria. Materials are a combination of locally sourced and imported. *2375 PREMIER—TERMINATION AND REDUNDANCY PAYMENTS—Mr Shoebridge asked the Leader of the Government in the Legislative Council, Special Minister of State, Minister for the Public Service and Employee Relations, Aboriginal Affairs, and the Arts, Vice-President of the Executive Council representing the Premier— (1) How many staff from the Deputy Premier's office have been paid termination payments, including redundancy, notice or any other payments, apart from annual leave, upon termination of their employment in each of: (a) 2016? (b) 2017? (c) 2018? (d) 2019? (e) 2020 to date? (2) What was the quantum of the termination payment in respect of each such staff member in: (a) 2016? (b) 2017? (c) 2018? (d) 2019? (e) 2020 to date? Answer— This is a matter for the Deputy Premier. *2376 TREASURER—ICARE USE OF PUBLIC MONEY—Mr Shoebridge asked the Minister for Finance and Small Business representing the Treasurer— (1) For what was Peter Bartlett and⁄or Minter Ellision contracted that lead to Mr Bartlett providing advice to icare on media monitoring by email dated 23 July 2020? 3596 Legislative Council Questions and Answers No. 370— Wednesday 28 October 2020 (2) How much was paid to Peter Bartlett and⁄or Minter Ellision for such services? (3) Did the payment come from the Nominal Insurer or some other source? (a) If another source, what was the source? Answer— Minter Ellison was engaged to provide legal advice in relation to media reports by Four Corners and other print media relating to icare and its Board and executives, including the appropriate response to those reports. The services icare paid for came to $27,590.00 excluding GST. *2377 TRANSPORT AND ROADS—$300 MILLION URBAN ROADS PINCH POINT PROGRAM—Mr Graham asked the Leader of the Government in the Legislative Council, Special Minister of State, Minister for the Public Service and Employee Relations, Aboriginal Affairs, and the Arts, Vice-President of the Executive Council representing the Minister for Transport and Roads— (1) For each of the following projects from the $300 million Urban Roads Pinch Point Program, please outline: (a) The estimated completion date: (i) Canterbury Road and King Georges Road, Wiley Park? (ii) Cumberland Highway and The Horsley Drive, Smithfield? (iii) Devlin Street, Blaxland Road and Parkes Street, Ryde? (iv) Elizabeth Drive and Marsden Road, Liverpool? (v) Forest, Bonds and Boundary Road, Peakhurst? (vi) Georges River Road and Milton Street, Ashfield? (vii) Georges River Road, Portland Street and Lees Avenue, Croydon Park? The investigation and planning is progressing under a different program. (iii) Estimated completion date is late 2022. (iv) Project completed in August 2019. (v) Completion date is not available at this time. The investigation and planning is progressing under a different program. (vi) Estimated completion date is late 2022. (vii) Project completed in July 2019. (viii) Estimated completion date is late 2021. (ix) There are multiple Pinch Points projects on this section of the highway. These include: (i) • At Redleaf Avenue and Coonanbarra Road: estimated completion date is mid-2022. (ii) • At Fox Valley Road: estimated completion date is mid-2022. (iii) • At Finlay Road: early 2021 with construction funding from a different program of works. (x) Information is available on the project website.. (xi) Estimated completion date is early 2021.
