O R D E R : In the letter read above, the Director General of Police has stated that the 48th All India Police Duty Meet was held at Dergaon (Assam) from 14th to 18th December 2004. In the Meet, 21 states, 8 Central Police Organizations and 1 UT participated in six events (Scientific Aids to Investigation (SAI), Computer Awareness, Dog Squad, Anti Sabotage Check, Videography and Professional Photography). In the Meet, the Tamil Nadu Police contingent has bagged the maximum number of medals (11) comprising two Gold Medals (SAI and Computer), 4 Silver medals (Computers & SAI) and 5 Bronze medals (Professional Photography, Videography and SAI). The Tamil Nadu Police contingent has also bagged the highest number of Trophies - Two Winners Trophies (Scientific Aids to investigation and Computer Awareness) and one Runners Up Trophy (Scientific Aids to Investigation).
