These define broadly the processes of control by which the Board and management ensure that RIDBC is achieving its objectives effectively and efficiently, that its financial reporting is properly informative and reliable, and that it acts in compliance with all laws and regulations. Psychology isn’t something automatically associated with deafness and blindness, but, as RIDBC’s Christine Muir points out, it’s an integral part of educating children with sensory impairment. “An impairment might have a significant impact on the education of a child.
