Sunday’s contest marks the Longhorns’ frst competitive action in a week after Stanford 1,136 severe winter weather in the state of Texas postponed Wednesday’s scheduled contest at TCU. UT’s +5.95 turnover margin is the 14th- Stanford 33 best mark nationally this season. Texas 32 • CREATING OFFENSE FROM DEFENSE: Texas is utilizing its defense to create offense this season, as UConn 31 the Longhorns has scored at least 20 points off turnovers in 10 games this season. The Longhorns posted a season-high 39 points off turnovers in the season opener versus SMU, and hit the 30-point mark in three- straight outings against Drake (33 points), at Kansas State (38 points) and against Lamar (32 points).
