UT forced a season-high 35 turnovers in a win over SMU on Nov. 25, and created 34 turnovers in its Big 12 opener at Kansas State on Dec. 21. As a result, the Longhorns rank 11th nationally in Georgia 33 turnovers forced per game (22.2) and ninth in turnover margin (+7.4). Both of those are also the best marks Stanford 33 by a Big 12 program this season. Texas 32 • CREATING OFFENSE FROM DEFENSE: Texas is utilizing its defense to create offense this season, as UConn 31 the Longhorns has scored at least 20 points off turnovers in eight of 12 games this season.
