Ed è quello che è successo frequentemente alla Casa del Cinema nei primi due mesi di attività, in particolare con i classici di Original Sound, evidentemente graditi da un pubblico più numeroso dei posti a sedere. Bella forza, direte, sono cinquanta. Certo, ma neanche riempire le sale piccole è sempre facile. In ogni caso, non potendo allargare o allungare la sala, non resta che aumentare gli spettacoli: tre, al posto di due, per i classici in lingua di cui si è detto dai primi di dicembre, a titolo sperimentale, con orari di inizio dei film alle 16, alle 18.30 e alle 21. Indispensabile, in tutti i casi, e anche per gli altri appunta- menti, la prenotazione degli spettacoli prescelti, in maniera tale (lo andiamo dicendo dal giorno dell’inaugu- razione e non per certo per preveggenza) da consentire all’Ufficio di quotare meglio la domanda e agli spet- tatori di non sobbarcarsi viaggi inutili. E se qualche prenotazione telefonica fosse andata a vuoto, portate pazienza, siamo ancora in rodaggio, l’importante è far tesoro dell’esperienza e cercare di rimediare. Il successo della Casa del Cinema non è peraltro omogeneo. Stentano le prime visioni del venerdì e del sabato, forse perché a normale bigliettazione e forse perché costruire un pubblico intorno ai film off della produzione indipendente richiede più tempo. Il tempo – in epoca di eventi sparati – di prendere dimestichezza con titoli e autori meno reclamizzati e conosciuti, con stili narrativi volutamente ibridi e sperimentali, con tematiche non scontate.

The data presented in this assignment is taken from The Movies Dataset1 made available by Rounak Banik on Kaggle – which is an online community of data scientists.
