Cancún delivers the best of both worlds: the Caribbean and Mexico. For visitors who frequent other Caribbean destinations, Cancún offers an unequalled mix of man- made, natural, and cultural attractions. Cancún was a part of the ancient Mayan civilization and is still considered the gateway to the Mayan World (“El Mundo Maya”). Mayan temples and ritual sites are literally everywhere, some smothered by lush jungle, others easily accessible (one pops up at one of our golf courses). There is even a Mayan temple overlooking the in the heart of the Cancún Hotel Zone! Cancun is situated on the southeast of Mexico in the state of Quintana Roo in the Yucatan Peninsula. The small island just 12 miles long and 1 mile wide right on the Caribbean coast is marked by exceptional natural beauty and dotted with lagoons and spectacular beaches. Warm white powdery sand beaches and turquoise crystal clear waters together with the famous Mexican hospitality make this a place like no other! Cancun has the most modern and functional airport in Latin America and the Caribbean, offering worldwide connections and flights. Its hotels, restaurants, shopping malls and entertainment centers offer the best quality and service, not only in the Caribbean, but worldwide. With 250 sunny days a year, the gentle sea breezes keep the temperature at around 80ºF.
