JANNINE WEIGEL BIOGRAPHY Name : Jannine Parawie Weigel Nickname : Ploychompoo Religion : Christian Race : European-Asian Nationality : German-Thai Date of Birth : Sunday 30 July 2000 in Steinfurt, Germany Languages : Thai-German-English Education : School in Germany and Home School in Thailand (Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University) Jannine started commercial acting in 2010 and singing in 2011. In 2012 she got signed with GMM Grammy Thailand after winning the 3rd place in the competition "Singing Kids". Her YouTube channel "Jannine Weigel" aka Jannina W fast gained a huge popularity and 2014 she received the "YouTube Golden Play Button" for having more than 1 million subscribers. In 2015, The first Thai movie "Senior" with her as the main female actor was released and her first Thai single "Love Mai Love" was published. Also in 2015 she published her first English EP named "Genesis" with 5 songs. In early 2016, Her second Thai single called "Away" was released which was a number one Top Singles Chart in Thailand. On May 15th, Jannine published new original song “Finish Line” She did this song with her team in LA. It's released with Dance Choreography version In June she signed a management contract with b2 Talent Asia for starting her international career. On September 11th her third Thai single called "Because of You" (OST.Duck Idol Series) was released. In 2017, Jannine debuted the German single called "Zurück Zu Dir" on June 1st and live show at The Gala of The Webvideopreis Deutschland 2017. On May 16th her fourth Thai single called "I'm Glad" was released. It's the original soundtrack OPPO series "My Secret Friend" that has 2 episodes on July. Just recently Jannine releases new EP named "Deep End" with 3 songs. Music Videos are showing on YouTube. On 29th of December Jannine released her sonf "Ghostbuster" which was written and compsed by herself Now Jannine has international fans in the age group from 13 to 35 years old. CAREER MUSIC Early 2013 was her first time she went into a studio to record “ไกลแค่ไหนคือใกล้ (Special Version)” along with other singers. The remake song, Originally by Getsunova, gained much success. This was also the first cover that earned her a lot of international reputation and popularity.     28 May-10 june C NTENT 2018 www.contentasia.tv l www.contentasiasummit.com Discovery takes StarHub carriage row to Singapore viewers 11 channels in danger as renewal talks deadlock, new StarHub head Peter K could arrive on 9 July to a smouldering TV mess Discovery took its carriage renewal negotiations public this morning in an aggressive campaign designed to whip up public support for its channels in Sin- gapore – and (clearly) to pressure local platform StarHub into softening its current stand against the renewal of an 11-chan- nel bundle. As of today, seven Discovery channels are scheduled to go dark on 30 June, with the newly acquired four-channel Scripps bouquet headed into the abyss at the end of August. Discovery says it has already been for- mally notified by StarHub that its channels are not being renewed. In a response this morning, StarHub didn’t mention any formal notice, saying only that “we are in renewal negotia- tions... and we are doing everything pos- sible to arrive at a deal which would allow Discovery and StarHub to continue our partnership while offering our customers the same content at a reasonable price”. StarHub isn’t coming into this public fight with no firepower, saying it is acquiring fresh content to replace Discovery “in the event that negotiations prove unsuc- cessful”. Several new channels are in the works “to ensure our customers will continue to enjoy access to a good range of educa- tion and lifestyle channels,” StarHub says.
