While at Samford, she has sung in the Samford A Cappella choir as both an Semele George Frideric Handel alto 1 and soprano 2. Emily will be graduating in May and plans to attend O Sleep Why Dost Thou Leave Me (1685-1759) Western Theological Seminary in Holland, Michigan where she will pursue the master of divinity. Koeng Wie Melodien (1833-1897) Award for Excellence in Vocal Accompanying, and in January 2020 was invited to participate in Renée Fleming’s SongStudio at Weill Music Institute at Carnegie III Hall. For three years, John served as lecturer and collaborative pianist at Samford, teaching applied piano and courses in accompanying, chamber music, and Contes mystiques Gabriel Fauré musical theater. He previously served as a member of the music faculty of Judson En Priere (1845-1924) College in Marion, Alabama, teaching applied piano and group- piano, as well as courses in music theory and piano pedagogy.
