O R D E R Sri Md. Layequddin, Nizamabad District-503001 has filed a Complaint dated 05-01-2018 which was received by this Commission on 06-01-2018 for not getting the information sought by him from the PIO-1 / The Environmental Engineer, Telangana State Pollution Control Board, Regional Office, D No. 6-2-166/A, Subashnagar, Nizamabad District-503002, PIO-2 / The Commissioner, Nizamabad Municipal Corporation, Nizamabad District, PIO-3 / The Tahsildar, Tahasil Urban Office, Nizamabad Mandal, Nizamabad District. The brief facts of the case as per the Complaint and other records received along with it are that the Complainant herein filed an application dated 18-12-2017 before the PIO / The Environmental Engineer, Telangana State Pollution Control Board, Regional Office, D No. 6-2-166/A, Subashnagar, Nizamabad District under Sec.6(1) of the RTI Act, 2005, requesting to furnish the information on the following points mentioned in his application annexed. TSIC P.T.O Note: This is system generated copy and no signature is required. ::2:: The Public Information Officer has not furnished the information to the Complainant. As the Complainant did not receive the required information from the PIO even after 30 days of filing his application, he preferred this Complaint before the Commission u/s 18(1) of the RTI Act, 2005 requesting to arrange to furnish the information sought by him. The Complaint was taken on file and notices were issued to both the parties for hearing on 28-11-2018. The case is called on 28-11-2018. The Complainant is absent. The Public Information Officer-1 / Smt M. Manasa, Assistant Environmental Engineer, O/o The Environmental Engineer, Telangana State Pollution Control Board, Regional Office, Nizamabad District is present. The Public Information Officer-2 / The Commissioner, Nizamabad Municipal Corporation, Nizamabad District is absent. The Public Information Officer-3 / Sri P. Anand Kumar, Naib Tahsildar, O/o The Tahsildar, Tahsil Urban Office, Nizamabad Mandal Nizamabad District is present. The Public Information Officer-3 / Sri P. Anand Kumar, Naib Tahsildar, Nizamabad South submitted that the sought information does not come under the purview of the department and so they transferred it to the Public Information Officer / Tahsil Urban Office, Nizamabad Mandal North on 20-12-2017. The Public Information Officer-1 / The Assistant Environmental Engineer, Telangana State Pollution Control Board, Regional Office, Nizamabad District submitted that tobacco filter plant activity does not come under their purview of Pollution Control Board and the Board does not issue any license to this activity and the said fact was informed to the appellant on 20-12-2017 through a letter. The Commission directed the Public Information Officer-1 to appear before the Commission on the next date of hearing with detailed report. The case was adjourned to 15-10-2019. The case is called on 15-10-2019. The Complainant is absent. The Public Information Officer / Smt M. Manasa, Assistant Executive Engineer is present. The Public Information Officer submitted that as per the directions of this Commission, the Public Information Officer / Telangana State Pollution Control Board, Nizamabad inspected the Charbahi Beedi Works Unit and submitted their observations vide letter No. 1367/TSPCB/RO/NZB/RTI/2019-06 dated 04-01-2019. She also submitted that presently there is no industrial activity in the said place and the pollution levels are within permissible limits and the said fact has been conveyed to the complainant and the complainant was satisfied and gave a letter dated 05-10-2019 withdrawing the complaint.     10/17/2019 KAMAREDEDY DISTRICT We acknowledge the content from: https://kamareddy.telangana.gov.in › document › district-profile The district is spread over an area of 3,652.00 square kilometres (1,410.05 sq mi) making it the 15th largest district in the state.[4] Kamareddy is bounded by Nizamabad district on North, Sircilla district and Siddipet district on East and South East respectively, it is bounded on South by Sangareddy district and Medak district and on the West and South West by Nanded district and Bidar district of Maharashtra and Karnataka states respectively. NATURAL RESOURCES FOREST: The total Forest area in the District 82,190.48 Hectares farming 22.43 percent of the Total Geographical Area of the District. The thick Forest belt produces Timber, Fuel, Bamboo and Beedi Leaves, which yield good revenue. Custard Apples grow well in this District. 1/3 10/17/2019 SOILS: The important soils are Black Soils and Chalka ( Sandy Loamy ) and they constitute 52 Percent and 48 Percent of Total Area of the District respectively. The erstwhile blocks of Madnoor and Banswada are predominantly covered by Black Soils and other area of the district is covered with Chalka Soils MINERALS: The district is not rich in minerals, Iron ore of poor quality occurs at a few places as laterite and ferrogenous quartizites. Aluminous boles containing 24% to 35% alumina are reported from Gurja Kunta of Bhiknoor Mandal and Karedpally in Tadwai Mandal. White calcareous Kaolinised earth is found near Tippapur, Bhiknoor and Kupriyal. Granites of various quartzes and Deccan trap rocks yield excellent material for buildings and roads.
