Hockey Career: Won four Olympic Gold Medals with the National Women’s Hockey Team (NWT) (2002, 2006, 2010, 2014). 2014 Olympic Team Captain. Assistant captain from 2007 to 2013. Participated in 12 IIHF World Championships; winning 6 gold medals and 6 silver medals from 1999 to 2015 with the NWT. Third All-Time in Scoring with the NWT. Community Involvement & Work: Owner of Not-for-Profit Organization Célébration Hockey Féminin Caroline Ouellette; a female hockey event that welcomed over 1200 female hockey players aged from 5 to 15 and involved 8 Olympians as coaches and guest speakers. Owner of Caroline Ouellette Hockey Camps in , PEI, New Brunswick and Newfoundland in collaboration with 2022 Project. Owner of Caroline Ouellette Hockey Caravan, a Hockey Quebec program that travels across the province to offer free hockey sessions and conferences about the olympic journey to young female hockey players. Reached out to over 250 female hockey players in 2014-15 in Richelieu, West Island and Quebec City. Recipient of the YWCA Women of Distinction award in 2014 in the sport and play field. Part of the largest expedition ever to ski to North Pole in support of True Patriot Love Foundation in April 2014. Right to Play Athlete Ambassador. Visited a Right to Play program in Benin, Africa. Recipient of 2013 Isobel Gathorne-Hardy Award. Given to a player that has made a significant contribution to female hockey and that demonstrates strong community involvement and dedication to all aspects of the game.
