NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO BE HAPPY ALONE Report of Don Bosco Care Home, Nilavarapatti Boys Educational Tour to Chennai. on Bosco care Home, Nilavarapatti, Salem had the children in their trip. There were 60 children along The Children were received and boarded in St. Bedes with Fr. Daniel, The Director, Don Bosco Care Home, School, Santhome. Don Bosco Egmore provided with two Nilavarapatti, 4 Salesian brothers along with 2 German of their school buses to take the children around the city volunteers. on both the days. Ms. Ilakiya and Mr. Manoj who were the past employees of Don Bosco Care Home Nilavarapatti also joined with Dr. VG Santhosam, Chairman of VGP Group of Companies DAY 1 On the 1st day they had scheduled to visit VGP Universal Kingdom. The children started around 9.30 AM from St.Bedes to their picnic spot The children were divided into 4 groups and accommodated in 2 school buses along with the staff. At this point of time we should whole heartedly thank Dr.VG Santhosam, The Chairman, VGP Group of companies who have accepted the request and fully waivered the entry ticket for all the children and staff. The children enjoyed playing all the games and spent some time in beach. The lunch was arranged in VGP canteen itself. All had rest for ½ hour after lunch and started playing rides. They started their return journey around 5.30 PM from VGP universal kingdom and came back to St. Bedes school .They were served dinner at Santhome Church which is adjacent to St. Bedes School. DAY 2 2nd day tour started around 9 AM after having breakfast in St. Bedes. On day two, they had scheduled to visit some of the important monuments in the city, which adds flavor to its cultural heritage. They have visited monuments like Anna square, MGR memorial, Former chief minister Dr.J.Jayalalitha Samadhi etc., and then they have visited Secretariat, St. George Fort museum. They had their lunch at St. Gabriel school ground. The lunch was sponsored by Ms.Ilakkiya and Mr. Manoj who were the past employees of DB Nilavarapatti. All the children enjoyed their meal like festival. They spent some time in the ground and played football. Then they started their journey towards St. Thomas Basilica. They enjoyed seeing the flights land and takeoff from the mountain. Finally they came back to Marina beach and seen Light house and played in beach and all were asked to assemble at 6.30 PM and started back to St. Bedes where they were accommodated and prepared for their journey back to Salem that night. The children thanked Mr. Paul Boels, Honorary President of the Schlooz foundation and the foundation members for their sponsors and continuous support that has brought joy and happiness in the face of these children in their picnic to Chennai..
