It will be led by St Patrick’s Cathedral Choir and there will be an opportunity for congregational singing. All welcome. Christmas Day 11.00 am (no 5.30pm Mass) St Malachy’s Church Christmas Eve Vigil Mass 8.00 pm (Carols from 7.30 pm) Christmas Day 8.00 am, 10.00 am, 12.00 noon Church of the Immaculate Conception, Tullysaran Christmas Eve Vigil Mass 9.00 pm Christmas Day 10.00 am St Colmcille’s Church, Knockaconey Christmas Eve Vigil Mass 8.00 pm Christmas Day 10.00 am New Years Day Monday 1 January is the Feast of Mary the Mother of God and World Day of Peace. The only Mass in the Parish on this day will be in St Patrick’s Cathedral at 11am. Mass from Tuesday 26 Dec to Saturday 30 Dec and from Tuesday 2 Jan to Friday 5 Jan at 10.00am in St Patrick’s Cathedral and 7.30pm in St Malachy’s Church. The normal Mass schedule will resume on Monday 8 January 2018. Confessions in preparation for Christmas Monday 18 – Friday 22 December (after the 10am Mass) Tuesday 19 – Friday 22 December (after the 7.30pm Mass) Saturday 23 December 12noon – 3pm in St Malachy’s Church Monday 18 December 7.30pm Parish Penitential Service in St Malachy’s Church and a number of priests will be present – no Mass on that evening. Christmas and New Year Services in Keady, Derrynoose & Madden Parish A Carol Service in preparation for Christmas will take place in St Patrick’s Keady on Tuesday 19th December at 7.00 pm. It will be led by St Francis of Assisi P.S. Christmas Masses St Patrick’s Church Keady Christmas Eve Vigil Mass 9.00 pm Christmas Day 9.00 am & 11.30 am St Mochua’s Church, Derrynoose Christmas Eve Vigil Mass 9.00 pm St. Joseph’s Church, Madden Christmas Day 10.00 am No Mass 26th or 27th in the parish New Years Day Monday 1 January is the Feast of Mary the Mother of God and World Day of Peace. Armagh, from Friday 27th February to Tuesday 2nd March 2004. The hoard consisted of a Class 3 sword, a plain and an undecorated copper alloy sheet vessel of Continental origin and a copper alloy ring. The hoard had been discovered, and lifted, by a metal detectorist on Thursday 19th February 2004. The discovery was promptly reported to Armagh County Museum. 1.1.2 The hoard consisted of four separate copper alloy artefacts: a Class 3 sword; a Fuchsstadt-Type vessel; a Jenišovice-Type vessel; and a ring. The finder reported that the sword was lying near horizontal and aligned approximately NNW to SSE, with its tip to the NNW. The two vessels were positioned immediately to the SSE of the sword’s hilt, with the Jenišovice-Type vessel placed inside the other.

    STATUTORY RULES OF NORTHERN IRELAND 2017 No. 193 ROADS The Granemore Road, Tassagh, Keady (Abandonment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2017 Made - - - - 19th September 2017 Coming into operation - 25th October 2017 The Department for Infrastructure( a) makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 68(1) and (5) of the Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993( b) and now vested in it( c). The Department in accordance with Article 68(4) of that Order proposes on the completion of works providing alternative facilities for road traffic to abandon the area of road described in the Schedule. Notice has been published, served and displayed in compliance with paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 of Schedule 8 to that Order. No objection has been received. Citation, commencement and interpretation 1. —(1) This Order may be cited as The Granemore Road, Tassagh, Keady (Abandonment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2017 and shall come into operation on 25th October 2017. (2) In this Order “the Contractor” means Doran Consulting, whose registered office is situate at Norwood House, 96-102 Great Victoria street, Belfast BT2 7BE. Application 2. The first enumeration took place in 1926 and incorporated questions relating to occupation and industry, orphanhood and infirmities. The second enumeration made in 1937 was of m^ore limited scope and was intended to bridge the gap between the census of 1926 and the census which it was proposed to take in 1941, but which had to be abandoned owing to the outbreak of war. The census taken as at mid­ night of 8th-9th April, 1951, forms the basis of this report and like that in 1926 questions were asked as to the occupations and industries of the population. The length of time required to process the data collected at an enumeration before it can be presented in the ultimate reports is necessarily considerable. In order to meet immediate requirements, however, two Preliminary Reports on the 1951 census were published. The first of these gave the population figures by administrative areas and towns and villages, and by Counties and County Boroughs according to religious profession. The Second Report, which was restricted to Counties and County Boroughs, gave the population by age groups.

    EDUCATION AND LIBRARY BOARDS FOR NORTHERN IRELAND ADMISSION TO PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION Funded places are available in all nursery schools and nursery units in primary schools and in some voluntary/private playgroups and day nurseries for children born between 2 July 2011 and 1 July 2012. Details of centres which provide funded places are contained in information booklets prepared by the Education and Library Boards. You should contact the Principals of schools or the leaders of the centres in which you are interested in obtaining places. You will be given an information booklet and an application form. The closing date for lodging an application form for a funded pre-school place is: Wednesday 14 January 2015 (12 noon) Remember Only one official application form MUST be submitted for every child seeking a pre-school place in September 2015. All preferences should be listed in order on this form. ADMISSION TO PRIMARY SCHOOL Any child whose 4th birthday falls on or before 1 July 2015 will have reached compulsory school age in September 2015 and must commence primary education. Parents of children in the above age-group should contact the Principals of the schools being considered for attendance. The Principals will be in a position to provide an application form and other information regarding admission.
