Public Disclosure Authorized This textual part along with the Procurement Plan tables in STEP constitute the Procurement Plan for the Project. The first year programme was implemented during the year 2004-2005. 2. In the Government Order second read above, the financial sanction for Rs.15 crores for implementation of RSVY in Nagapattinam District during 2004-2005 was issued and also the Government released Rs.7.50 crores as first instalment (first instalment for first year programme) for implementation of RSVY in Nagapattinam District in 2004-2005. -

The climate change factors relating to extreme weather events, unseasonal rain, erratic rainfall, delayed monsoon, over rainfall, occurrence of droughts and desertification can significantly affect the agriculture production. Hence, the farmers are in need of effective coping mechanism. This paper deals with coping mechanism adopted by farm households in Nagapattinam district, Tamil Nadu state. It outlines the implications of various coping mechanism perceived by the farm household in the study area. This paper concludes with some interesting findings along with policy suggestions. DISTRICT SURVEY REPORT OF NAGAPATTINAAMM DISTRICT NAGAPATTINAM DISTRICT 1 DISTRICT SURVEY REPORT‐NAGAPATTINAM DISTRICT SURVEY REPORT OF NAGAPATTIANAM 1.0 PERMEABLE In conjunction to the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, the Government of India Notification No.SO 141 (E) dated 15.01.2016 and SO 190 (E) dated 20.01.2016 the District Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority (DEIAA) and District Environment Appraisal Committee (DEAC) were constituted in Nagapattianam District for the grant of Environmental Clearance for category “B2” projects for quarrying of Minor Minerals. The main purpose of preparation of District Survey Report is to identify the mineral resources and develop the mining activities along with relevant current geological data of the District. The DEAC will scrutinize and screen scope of the category “B2” projects and the DEIAA will grant Environmental Clearance based on the recommendations of the DEAC for the Minor Minerals on the basis of District Survey Report. This District Mineral Survey Report is prepared on the basis of field work carried out in Nagapattianma district by the official from Geological Survey of India and Directorate of Geology and Mining, (Nagapattinam District), Govt. of Tamilnadu. The following District Survey Report (DSR) report prepared based on the guidelines by MOEF S.O. 3611(E). dt 25.July 2018. 1.1 INTRODUCTION: Nagapattinam District was carved out of erstwhile Thanjavur District on October 18,1991. Subsequently it was bifurcated in 1997 as Nagapattinam and Tiruvarur Districts.It is a very smalldistrict with a total geographical area of 2715.83 Sq. Kms. This constitutes just 2.09 % of the areaof the State.
