Und überhaupt: 57 Punkte nach 30 Partien bedeuten die drittbeste Bilanz aller Zeiten für den VfL. Nur in der Meistersaison 2008/2009 (60) und in der Vize-Meister-Saison 2014/2015 (61) waren die Wölfe besser. Positiv ist auch, dass mit den beiden Außenverteidigern Kevin Mbabu und Paulo Otavio zwei zuletzt gesperrte Defensivkräfte zurückkehren, auch Captain Josuha Guilavogui dürfte zu Ende diese letzten englischen Woche der Saison nach verletzungsbedingtem Ausfall wieder eine Option sein.

    Read Ebook {PDF EPUB} A Boy in Barcelona by R.W. Mitchell 20 Must-Read Books Set in Spain by Spanish Authors. It’s always been the case that when I travel, I like to read novels that are region-specific. That’s been true for a long time; but in the last few years, as I became more aware of the lack of translated literature and the need to read more diversely, I made my plan even more particular. Now, when I travel somewhere, I want to read books not only set in the place, but written by someone who lived or was from there, preferably translated from the original language. So when I went to Mexico City from Chicago, I read Caramelo by Sandra Cisneros; when I went to England, I read Jane Austen. And when I went to Spain, I dug deep into lists of Spanish authors, of books to read before, during, and after my trip that were written by Spanish authors and were set in Spain. I included books written in Catalan and Galician, as they are important national identities of regions that have also pushed for independence. I should note that I attempted to make my list inclusive of authors of color, but struggled to find translated non-white authors writing in Spain. If you have recommendations, please share them with me on Twitter—I would love to hear them! It’s also worth noting that there are many fantastic authors and novels out there that I would have loved to dig into on my trip and on this list, but that are still untranslated, highlighting once again the importance of an international outlook for our reading lists.

GOUDOU Coffie (right) as she visits with UAM partners on World Malaria Day 2013 Cote d’Ivoire: A UAM Case Study Malaria threatens virtually all of Cote d’Ivoire’s 20 million people2, making it one of the most endemic countries in Africa. The World Health Organization in Cote d’Ivoire estimated as many as 9.6 million cases in 2010 and as many as 28,400 deaths.3 Since 2008, when the organization began counting confirmed malaria cases, admissions and deaths4, the number rose dramatically until 2010 and then fell, possibly be- cause civil war disrupted health systems, preventing families from accessing treatment and health workers from collecting reliable data. During this crisis, media reports showed that many malaria commodities were scarce or unavailable in the most affected regions. Today, malaria control is again a national priority under the leadership of Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara, who came to power in April 2011. Three Global Fund grants worth more than $150 million are aiding recon- struction efforts, benefitting pregnant women and children under 5 years of age.5 Without such aid, children in Cote d’Ivoire may suffer 1 to 6 malaria episodes per year.6 Ivorians are currently undertaking a major challenge to reduce the impact of malaria following the distribution of over 7 million long lasting nets.
