NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, That NATIONAL FUEL GAS DISTRIBUTION CORPORATION has filed proposed changes to its Tariff P.S.C. No. 8 - Gas - with a requested effective date of February 28, 2007. These revised leaves are designed to increase annual revenues by $51,981,000, raising customer bills by an average of approximately 6.4 percent. The Company is proposing a Conservation Incentive Program, which, if approved, would promote efficiency and conservation through appliance rebates, customer education and rate design changes that would account for changes in revenue arising from lower usage of natural gas. The proposed revisions are subject to suspension, review, modification, rejection or approval by the New York State Public Service Commission. Prior to the Commission's decision on the revisions, hearings will be held to provide the public with a forum for comments on the Company's request.
