Semaine du film ethnographique de Caen Programme 2012 Édition 2012 : « La famille, mémoire et transmission » Date : du 26 novembre au 02 décembre 2012 Lieu : Caen - Cinéma Lux Pour cette 18 ème édition, La Semaine du cinéma ethnographique vous propose d’explorer le thème de la famille. Objet sociologique et anthropologique de premier plan, la famille est ici envisagée sous un angle bien précis, à savoir ce en quoi elle constitue (et dans quelles limites) un vecteur privilégié de production, transmission et mémoire d’un patrimoine culturel immatériel ou matériel, ou - autrement dit - un outil de reproduction sociale et culturelle. Par patrimoine culturel, on entendra ici aussi bien une mémoire collective, des pratiques et formes d’organisation sociale, des croyances et idéologies, des modes de vie, des savoirs et savoir-faire, des représentations du monde, et d’une façon générale pour ce qui nous occupe, tout biens matériels ou immatériels produits ou transmis dans le cadre familial au sens large. En filigrane, et si besoin avec le recul historique nécessaire à la bonne compréhension des sujets abordés, la programmation s’attache à mettre en lumière différents aspects de l’évolution de la société. Elle accorde donc une importance particulière à la question des ruptures pouvant intervenir dans les processus mémoriels et dans les mécanismes de transmission, notamment intergénérationnels. Plus concrètement, organisée autour de sept focales, l’affiche de cette édition 2012 constitue une invitation à découvrir des milieux très variés : le monde rural en France, en Carélie ou en Argentine, la middle-class américaine, la grande bourgeoisie industrielle du nord de la France ou à l’extrême opposé le quart-monde post- industriel du Borinage ou agricole au Mexique. -
