2 Let him kiss me with the . : מִ ָיִ ֹדֶ י ט בִ י ־ ִ י ִ יה מִ ְ ִ יק ת יִ ָקֵנִ י 21: ishq·ni m·nshiquth phi·eu ki - tubim ddi·k m·iin : kisses of his mouth: for thy he-shall-kiss·me from·kisses-of mouth-of·him that good-ones affections-of·you from·wine love [is] better than wine.
3 Because of the savour of עֲלָ מ ת עַל־ ֵ ְמֶ רַ ק ֶמֶ ט בִ י ְמָ נֶי לְרֵ יחַ 31: l·rich shmni·k tubim shmn thurq shm·k ol-kn olmuth thy good ointments thy for·scent attars-of·you good-ones attar she-is-being-cemptied name-of·you on·so damsels name [is as] ointment poured forth, therefore do the virgins love thee. : אֲהֵ ב aebu·k : they-love·you
4 Draw me, we will run נָגִ ילָ ה חֲדָרָ יו הַ ֶלֶ הֱבִ יאַנִ י ָר צָ ה אַ חֲרֶ י מָ ְ כֵנִ י 41: mshk·ni achri·k nrutze ebia·ni e·mlk chdri·u ngile after thee: the king hath draw-you·me ! after·you we-shall-run he-cbrings·me the·king chambers-of·him we-shall-exult brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more מֵ י ָרִ י מִ ַיִ דֹדֶ י נַזְ ִ ירָ ה ָ וְנִ ְמְחָ ה u·nshmche b·k nzkire ddi·k m·iin mishrim than wine: the upright love and·we-shall-rejoice in·you we-shall-ccommemorate affections-of·you from·wine upright-ones thee. ס : אֲהֵ ב aebu·k : s they-love·you
5 ,I [am] black, but comely : ְ מֹה ִ ירִ יע ת קֵדָ ר ְ אָ הֳלֵ י יְר ָלָ ִ ְ נ ת וְ נָאוָה אֲנִ י ְ ח רָ ה 51: shchure ani u·naue bnuth irushlm k·aeli qdr k·iriouth shlme : O ye daughters of dusky I and·comely daughters-of Jerusalem as·tents-of Kedar as·sheets-of Solomon Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of :61 Solomon. 6 הַ ָמֶ ֶ ֱזָפַתְ נִ י ְחַרְ חֹרֶ ת ֶאֲנִ י ִרְ א נִ י ־ אַ ל al - thrau·ni sh·ani shchrchrth sh·shzphth·ni e·shmsh Look not upon me, must-not -be you (p)-are-staring-at ·me which·I dusky which·she-glanced-at·me the·sun because I [am] black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother's children were angry with ־ אֶ ת נֹטֵרָ ה ָמֻנִ י בִ י ־ נִחֲר אִ ִ י ְ נֵי bni am·i nchru - b·i shm·ni ntre ath - n (f) me; they made me the sons-of mother-of·me they-were- hot in·me they-placed·me one-being-custodian » keeper of the vineyards; [but] mine own vineyard .have I not kept : נָטָרְ ִ י לֹא ֶ ִ י ַרְ מִ י הַ ְרָ מִ י e·krmim krm·i sh·l·i la ntrthi : the·vineyards vineyard-of·me which·to·me not I-had -custody
7 Tell me, O thou whom . אֵ יכָ ה תִרְ עֶה אֵ יכָ ה נַפְ ִ י ֶאָ הֲבָ ה ִ י הַ ִ ידָ ה 71: egid·e l·i sh·aebe nphsh·i aike throe aike my soul loveth, where thou ctell-you ! to·me whom·she-loves soul-of·me where ? you-are-grazing where ? feedest, where thou makest [thy flock] to rest at noon: for why should I be as one that turneth aside by the עַל ְ עֹטְ יָה אֶהְ יֶה ַ ָמָ ה ַ ָהֳרָ יִ ַרְ ִ י thrbitz b·tzerim sh·l·me aeie k·otie ol flocks of thy companions? you-are-creclining in· the ·noons which·to·what ? I-am-becoming as·one-being-muffled (f) on
: חֲבֵרֶ י עֶדְ רֵ י odri chbri·k : droves-of partners-of·you
8 If thou know not, O thou לָ ־ צְאִ י ַ ָ ִ י הַ ָפָ ה לָ תֵדְ עִ י לֹא ־ אִ 81: am - la thdoi l·k e·iphe b·nshim tzai - l·k fairest among women, go if not you-are-knowing for·you the·lovely-one in· the ·women go -forth-you ! for·you thy way forth by the footsteps of the flock, and feed thy kids beside the .shepherds'tents מִ ְ ְ נ ת עַל ְדִ ֹתַ יִ ־ אֶ ת רְ עִ י הַ ֹא ְעִקְבֵ י b·oqbi e·tzan u·roi ath - gdithi·k ol mshknuth in·heels-of the·flock and·graze-you ! » kids-of·you on tabernacles-of
ס : הָ רֹעִ י e·roim : s the·ones-be ing-shepherds
9 I have compared thee, O : רַ עְ יָתִ י ִ ִ יתִ י פַרְ עֹה ְרִ כְבֵ י לְסֻסָתִ י 91: l·ssth·i b·rkbi phroe dmithi·k roith·i : my love, to a company of to·mare-of·me in·chariots-of Pharaoh I-mliken·you shepherdess-of·me horses in Pharaoh's chariots.
10 Thy cheeks are comely : ַ חֲר זִי צַ ָארֵ ַ ֹרִ י לְחָ יַיִ נָאו 1:10 nauu lchii·k b·thrim tzuar·k b·chruzim : with rows [of jewels], thy they-are-comely cheeks-of·you in· the ·bead-rows neck-of·you in· the ·threaded-gems neck with chains [of gold].

11 We will make thee : הַ ָסֶ נְקֻ ת עִ ָ ־ נַעֲ ֶ ה זָהָ ב רֵ י 1:11 thuri zeb noshe - l·k om nqduth e·ksph : borders of gold with studs bead-rows-of gold we-shall-make do for·you with specks-of the·silver of silver.
12 [While the king [sitteth . : רֵ יח נָתַ נִרְ ִ י ִמְסִ ֶהַ ֶלֶ ־ עַד 1:12 od - sh·e·mlk b·msb·u nrd·i nthn rich·u : at his table, my spikenard still which·the·king in·divan-of·him spikenard-of·me he-gave scent-of·him sendeth forth the smell thereof. 13 [A bundle of myrrh [is : יָלִ י ָדַ י ֵ י לִ י דִ י הַ ֹר צְ ר ר 1:13 tzrur e·mr dud·i l·i bin shd·i ilin : my wellbeloved unto me; he pouch-of the·myrrh darling-of·me to·me between breasts-of·me he-is-lodging shall lie all night betwixt my breasts. 14 My beloved [is] unto me ס : עֵ י ~ ֶדִ י ְ כַרְ מֵ י לִ י דִ י הַ ֹפֶ ר אֶ ְ ֹל 1:14 ashkl e·kphr dud·i l·i b·krmi oin~gdi : s [as] a cluster of camphire in cluster-of the·henna-blossom darling-of·me to·me in·vineyards-of En~Gedi the vineyards of Engedi.
15 ,Behold, thou [art] fair : י נִ י עֵ ינַיִ יָפָ ה הִ ָ רַ עְ יָתִ י יָפָ ה הִ ָ 1:15 en·k iphe roith·i en·k iphe oini·k iunim : my love; behold, thou [art] behold·you ! lovely shepherdess-of·me behold·you ! lovely eyes-of·you doves fair; thou [hast] doves'eyes.
16 ,Behold, thou [art] fair : רַ עֲנָנָה עַרְ ֵ נ ־ אַ נָעִ י אַ ד דִ י יָפֶ ה הִ ְ 1:16 en·k iphe dud·i aph noim aph - orsh·nu ronne : my beloved, yea, pleasant: behold·you ! lovely darling-of·me indeed pleasant indeed couch-of·us flourishing also our bed [is] green. K Q 17 The beams of our house : ְ ר תִ י רַ הִ יטֵ נ רַ חִ יטֵ נ אֲרָ זִי ָ ֵ ינ קֹר ת 1:17 qruth bthi·nu arzim rchit·nu reit·nu bruthim : [are] cedar, [and] our rafters rafters-of houses-of·us cedars manger-of·us gutter-of·us firs of fir.
