Welcome to the Fundraising Booklet For more information on anything in this booklet, please contact: [email protected] This booklet is designed to introduce our Fundraising offerings to each Extreme family along with an example timeline of when to expect fundraisers to occur. We will offer two different fundraising offerings: 1) Organization (mandatory team participation – profit will go directly to club to enhance family experience through facility improvements, technology advancements, training tools, etc) • We are planning 2 seasonal Organization fundraisers that will happen between Fall and Spring. More information will be provided to teams when it’s available. 2) Individual (optional – profit will go directly to individual player fees) • You may choose to do no individual fundraising. If you choose this route, please make sure your player fee account stays current. • Please refer to your Team Information Sheet (this was included in registration) for further information on the payment schedule that you must follow to keep your account current. • You can cover your player fee completely through fundraised money, family money, or any mixture of both. • The profit from your individual fundraisers will be directly deducted from your player fee account balance due. • Players & Parents can begin the fundraising program at any month the fundraisers are offered. • All families will be allowed to fundraise additional funds beyond their player fee. Options for these overpayments include: o Placed as a credit on your families LeagueApps account to be used towards your family’s next year player fee. o Credited towards additional skill training by the Extreme Network. *Please note our fundraising offerings are subject to potential change due to any COVID adjustments made by our external vendors. Blues Games Fundraiser *Timing of Blues 2020-21 Schedule TBD* • We have put in for 2 of our own Concession Stands at the Blues games. • We will earn 10% of the Net Profits for each stand. Profits get divided equally between all volunteers that work. • Variety of games available. You can sign up for as many as you want. • Limited to one player parent per game unless extra people are needed or you have more than one child playing for the Extreme. • Not just limited to hockey games. Can work any events held at the Enterprise Center…. depending on what the organization signs up for. • Easy way to earn money during the off-season and you don’t have to ask people to buy something. • Most games at 7:00…..need to be there by 4:30. • We set up a carpool for each game that meets at the Extreme Building that you can participate in. If we have to pay to park, we just split it among the riders. • On average we made around $80 each per hockey game. Profits will automatically be deducted from your player fees. • You will be required to take an online Alcohol test and submit to Kristy the verification form. Kristy will send an email out with the link to the test. It only takes a couple minutes to take. • Online game sign-ups will be available closer to the season. 90% of profits are applied to the player fees. 10% of profit applied to admin fees. St. Louis Cardinals Official Calendar fundraiser Dear Fundraising Coordinator: It’s not too early to begin preparations for your fundraising initiatives this fall by registering now for one of the most successful pre-holiday programs for area school, youth groups, and sports teams: The Official St. Louis Cardinals Calendar drive. The off-the-charts success of last fall’s calendar program, with a record number of participating groups selling a record number of calendars, reinforced the proven popularity of this fund-raising partnership. And we expect this year’s program to be an even greater success for participants! The program capitalized on two key components: 1) the popularity of calendars as holiday gift items; and 2) our region’s passion for Cardinals baseball. Our oversized wall calendar is a huge hit with fans, featuring beautiful design, high-end photography and the upcoming season’s complete Cardinals schedule. It’s educational too, featuring a captivating look at a popular Cardinals topic or tradition. 80% of profits from the calendar sale are applied to the player fee, 20% of profit applied to admin fees. Sample calendar below: Gun Raffle Below is a sample Gun Raffle flyer. We’ll have a new flyer with the exact guns listed closer to the drawing. Last year’s Gun Raffle was very profitable for families. NHRA October 2-4, 2020 7:00 am - Close anywhere from 9:00pm- midnight Number of workers TBD Stand Assignments TBD Holiday Raffle This is an example of a prior year’s holiday raffle information. It will be similar this year. After all expenses, 80% of profits are applied to the player fee. 20% of profit applied to admin fees. Super Bowl Boards Players sell squares on board for $2 each. $100 from the Super Bowl Boards are paid out to the winners of that board. The other $100 goes directly to the player’s account. The Super Bowl is February 7, 2021. 100% of profits applied to the player fee. TJ’s Pizza Players sell TJ’s items. After all expenses, 80% of profits are applied to the player fee. 20% of profit applied to admin fees. .
