Legati da un forte impegno nel sociale, da amicizia e stima reciproca, Bocelli e Zanetti hanno deciso di unire le forze per una serata unica di solidarietà, che sarà condotta da Michelle Hunziker e occasione per celebrare la riapertura dell’Area Expo. Lo spettacolo verrà trasmesso da Canale 5 il giorno successivo, il 26 maggio in prima serata. La scaletta del grande show, presentato da Alfa Romeo e promosso da Regione Lombardia, prevede performance musicali di altissimo livello impreziosite dalla presenza dei campioni e dei tecnici del calcio mondiale che si alterneranno sul palco per sostenere la raccolta fondi che, tramite il numero solidale 45592, aiuterà a garantire l’accesso all’educazione ad oltre 500 bambini a Buenos Aires e 1.750 studenti in Haiti. Fino al 30 maggio, infatti, tramite il numero solidale 45592 si potrà donare: 1 euro con sms da cellulare TIM, Vodafone, Wind, Posta Mobile, Coop Voce, Tiscali; 2 euro chiamando da rete fissa Vodafone e Twt; 2 o 5 euro chiamando da rete fissa Tim, Infostrada, Fastweb, Tiscali. Per la prima volta, dunque, leggende del calcio e miti della musica saranno sullo stesso palco per aiutare i più deboli: i fondi raccolti saranno destinati all’iniziativa “Educare per un mondo migliore”, promossa attraverso le fondazioni P.U.P.I. Onlus www.fondazionepupi.org e Fondazione Andrea Bocelli www.andreabocellifoundation.org, impegnate in progetti specifici dedicati all’educazione dei bambini dell’America Centro Meridionale. Il progetto “Educare per un mondo migliore” nasce dalla volontà comune alle due Fondazioni di Andrea Bocelli e Javier Zanetti di utilizzare l’istruzione come leva per l’autoaffermazione dei bambini e delle loro famiglie in aree disagiate, e sostenere la scuola come luogo dove garantire la possibilità di esprimere il proprio potenziale per lo sviluppo personale e quello della comunità. Intanto, nei giorni scorsi è già stata eccezionale la risposta del pubblico all’evento: i 3.000 posti seduti resi disponibili gratuitamente da Regione Lombardia e Arexpo sono andati esauriti in pochi minuti; conseguentemente è stato successivamente deciso di allargare l’accesso ai posti in piedi nella piazza di fronte al teatro.
