As illuminated through this main character's memories from his birth to the last moments of his life, the work deals with the pain of unrequited love (as seen through the relationship of a boy and his father), the overwhelming search for compassion (as seen through the eyes of a man dying alone), and the hope and pride given by a deep history remembered (as represented in the "whispering voices" of the man's ancestors, who guide him safely through his transition from life). David Rousseve David Rousseve David Rousseve, Artistic Director of David Rousseve/REALITY, is a choreo Director, grapher, writer, director, dancer and actor.
