A Busy Week in Room 6: We are gearing up for performance week in the “Land of OZ” - McCornack style! Due to all of the long rehearsals and evening performances, there will be no official homework assigned to students this week unless there is a special request. Miss Shannon, our wonderful student teacher from Pacific University, will be taking on a lot more classroom duties this week. She has been working hard to bring a special internationally focused unit to our class called “Passports to the World.” Students will be adventuring around the globe learning about many countries. It should be great fun and will certainly enhance my continued desire to teach students about the cultural and geographical aspects of our world. More to come . . .
