A Ferrara, Roma e Tarvisio apre il concerto THE LEADING GUY, songwriter dalle sonorità folk avvolgenti al debutto in Italiacon il disco d’esordio “Memorandum” Mercoledì 29 luglio parte dal GruVillage di Torino l’atteso tour in Italia dei 2Cellos, che prosegue fino al 2 agosto con altri 4 concerti in rassegne prestigiose: infatti le rockstar del violoncello dopo Torino saranno il 30 luglio al “Ferrara Sotto Le Stelle” in Piazza Castello, venerdì 31 a Roma alla Cavea dell’Auditorium Parco della Musica a chiusura della rassegna “Luglio Suona Bene”, sabato 1° agosto a Molfetta (Bari) alla Banchina di San Domenico per “Suoni e Luci a Levante” e infine domenica 2 agosto al “No Borders Music Festival” di Tarvisio (UD). Reduci da un tour trionfale in Asia con 16 date completamente sold out fra Giappone, Hong Kong, Corea e Singapore –i 2Cellos volano a Torino dopo una toccata e fuga negli USA, dove ieri hanno preso parte alla serata di gala della Starkey Hearing Foundation a St. Paul nel Minnesota. Con la musica dei loro violoncelli hanno letteralmente incantato gli ospiti, fra i quali ben due ex presidenti degli Stati Uniti, George W Bush e Bill Clinton, e colleghi musicisti del calibro di Gene Simmons dei Kiss e la popstar Katy Perry. Intanto, per questi 5 appuntamenti nuovamente organizzati dalla VignaPR di Luigi Vignando, il numero di biglietti venduti ha già superato abbondantemente la cifra totalizzata dal tour precedente, che nel dicembre 2014 vide le rockstar del violoncello suonare di fronte a più di 11 mila persone. Già oltre 12mila i fan che si sono assicurati l’ingresso a un concerto che si preannuncia ad altissima tensione emotiva, fra gli struggenti arrangiamenti classici e le esplosioni hard rock che hanno reso famose in tutto il mondo le performance di Luka Sulic e Stjepan Hauser, i 2Cellos, di nuovo accompagnati sul palco dal poderoso batterista Dušan Kranjc. Ad aprire i concerti dei 2Cellos a Ferrara, Roma e Tarvisio è The Leading Guy. Il giovane songwriter che ha mosso i primi passi nelle strade irlandesi e si è già fatto apprezzare dal vivo in Francia, Spagna e in molti paesi della Mitteleuropa e dei Balcani fa il vero debutto in Italia con il suo album di esordio, “Memorandum” – in uscita a settembre per l’etichetta indipendente Lady Lovely – musicalmente ispirato da sonorità folk intimiste, non lontane dal mondo dylaniano, con contaminazioni alla Mumfod & Sons che incontrano il miglior Damien Rice.
