Initially a pioneer exporter of fresh produce, Expolanka was one of the first winners of the prestigious PresidentialAward in this category. Emerging unobtrusively as a strong and dynamic group of companies, Expolanka has been gradually but steadily consolidating and sustaining growth. Expolanka’s rise to being one of the largest conglomerates in Sri Lanka has been achieved through a well strategised growth plan. Expolanka operates in various business sectors, globally represented by many industries in many business units. Each business unit over the years has maintained its competitive advantage by evolving and looking at focused business strategies. Expolanka’s expansion to international markets commenced in 1992, and within a very short span of time, the Group’s network of operations has spanned worldwide. The Group continues to explore new emerging markets with a view to expand its global operations. In 2011, Expolanka embarked on a new journey with the launch of
