Brooks Darnell (Albert/Kevin) was born in Ohio, the eldest of three sons and named after the late baseball great Brooks Robinson and the talented actress Linda Darnell. With large shoes to fill, Brooks chose both sports and acting as a child, but the latter became his passion. He last appeared on our stage as Frank Gardner in Mrs. Warren’s Profession. Brooks is cur- rently a principal actor on CBS’ The Young and the Restless.

Laura Goldstein (Betsy/Lindsey) is appearing in her fifth play at Theatre Palisades. She was last seen on our stage in In-laws, Outlaws, and Other People (That Should be Shot). Laura is very happy to be part of Clybourne Park and would like to thank Tony for this opportunity. Her film credits in- clude Porky’s Revenge and Jaws 3D. She studied acting with Milton Katselas.

Matt Landig (Karl/Steve) most recently appeared as Scotty in Torrance Theatre Company’s production of Ripcord. He also recently produced and performed the role of Alan in God of Carnage at Hermosa Beach’s Surf City Theatre. Theatre Pali - sades productions include Charley’s Aunt (the “title role”), Moon Over Buffalo (Paul) and Noises Off (Garry), for which he won Theatre Palisades’ Best Featured Actor Award. Other plays/roles: Lend Me a Tenor (Max/Bellhop), Doubt (Father Flynn), The Little Dog Laughed (Mitch), Beau Jest (Bob), and The Importance of Being Earnest (Jack). She has appeared in classics like Ghost Sonata and adaptations like The Further Adventures of Hedda Gabler. She is also an author with several published articles and an inspirational blog. Yvonne Robertson (Bev/Kathy) is pleased to be performing once again in the Pierson Playhouse. She lives in Long Beach and travels in Europe, catching most of the London theatrical shows every summer. You may remember her as Judith Bliss in Noel Coward’s Hay Fever, one of her favorite roles—which she has performed three times. An active member of TPAT (Theatre Palisades Actor’s Troupe), she is thankful for live theater everywhere. Thank you for supporting live theater and, specifically, the beautiful Theatre Palisades.

Larry Thaler (Russ/Dan) previously appeared at the Pierson Playhouse as Ben in Broadway Bound by Neil Simon. Other favorite roles in Neil Simon plays include George in Chapter Two, Lenny in Rumors and Oscar in The Odd Couple. More roles include Dr. Winston in Cactus Flower, Howard in Picnic, Dr. Rosenthal in Nuts and Linus in Sabrina Fair. Thank you to the cast and crew and to all of you for being here with us.

An actor as well as a director, he studied in NYC with several esteemed teachers including . Thanks to Theatre Pali - sades for choosing him to direct again and for the opportunity to work with good friends and a truly professional group of people. Martha Hunter (Co-Producer) has produced many of our mainstage productions but her first love is acting. Favorite roles were in Hay Fever, Perfect Wedding, The Foreigner, Moon Over Buffalo, Plaza Suite, Noises Off and Cash On Delivery! She has appeared in film, television and commercials. In 2013 she spearheaded TPAT (Theatre Palisades Actors’ Troupe). Congratulations to Tony, the talented cast and crew and to Sherman for his amazing set. And a special thanks to those “backstage angels” who have volunteered their time and energy to transforming the set!

Sherman Wayne (Co-Producer, Set & Lighting Design) is VP of Production for Theatre Pali sades, and has directed, produced, managed, designed and built sets for the theatre for more years than he would like to admit. Beginning as company manager of The Fantasticks in NYC, he worked extensively both off and on Broad- way. Moving back to California, Sherman worked for The Centre Theatre Group and the Greek Theatre and taught high school the atre for 25 years. He has directed many plays at TP, including Noises Off, Rumors, Plaza Suite, Picnic and The Fanta- sticks. Sherman received both the Christofer Cariello Award and the Lelah T. Pier- son Award for his never-ending support and commitment to Theatre Palisades.

Susan Stangl (Sound Design) has been designing sound for us for several years. Her directing credits at Theatre Palisades include Bark!, Has Anybody Here Seen Roy? and The Supporting Cast. She has also appeared in The Spitfire Grill, The Diviners, The Haunting of Hill House and Charley’s Aunt. She performs with the alt-country band, Dreamers and Drifters, in her spare time.

June Lissandrello (Costume Design) is happy to be working on this show with a wonderful cast and crew. She has received several TP awards for her work on pre- vious productions. She also steps in to paint sets and sew up drapes when needed. June is a Palisades resident and has served on the TP board. Enjoy the show! Celebrating 15 Years! Joanne Reich (Poster Design, Scenic Artist) has designed most of the TP posters for the past ten years! She also designed the set for Company. Her scenic artistry has been on display in The Hollow, The Odd Couple, Spitfire Grill and South Pacific, among others. A nationally renowned sculptor and painter, she has a BA in Art from UCLA. She also studied oil painting at the DeCordova Museum Art School and sculpture at the Brentwood Art Center and the Sculpture Studio in Santa Monica.
