Subbuteo, Sardinia & Wine Torneo Internazionale Satellite “Subbuteo, Sardinia & Wine” 19 / 20 Luglio 2014 – Valledoria (Sassari) – Subbuteo Team Sassari –www.subbuteoteamsassari.it 1 in collaborazione con e le Subbuteo Team Sassari, Sardinia RE and Cantine Santa Rita, are glad to invite you in Valledoria, just few miles from Sassari, for the 1st When you find words as “Summer” and “Sardinia” in the same sentence, it's inevitable thinking about sea, sun and fun. In just a word: holiday! Starting from this idea, Subbuteo Team Sassari want to share with our friends subbuteo players all that our land can offer on July, organizing a tournament that will be as more attractive as possible, inviting you for a real holiday where you can play your favourite sport. Tournament's name, “Sardinia, Subbuteo & Wine”, contains all the elements that will charaterize it. Being Sardinia known as synonymous of sun and sea, we chose as a location one of the most famous and valued area of the Gulf of Asinara. Valledoria territory is placed in a very good position, just few minutes from the wide beaches of Badesi, the tipycal and beautiful village of Castelsardo and from the wonderful place of Isola Torneo Internazionale Satellite “Subbuteo, Sardinia & Wine” 19 / 20 Luglio 2014 – Valledoria (Sassari) – Subbuteo Team Sassari –www.subbuteoteamsassari.it 2 Rossa. Surroundings offer a lot of natural and cultural attractions, such as the typical “roccia dell’elefante”, the Coghinas river, really close to the Casteldoria thermal baths, and many ancient buildings known as “nuraghes”. Sardinia is even famous for its huge offer of food and wine, so we chose a modern wine cellar as a location for the tournament. The “CANTINE SANTA RITA” will host the two days event, offering a unusual and original background for our movement. The wine cellar overlook to the Gulf of Asinara, giving us a spectacular view, really different from the places where usually subbuteo tournaments are played. Furthermore the Subbuteo Team Sassari offer doesn't stop with Sardinia natural attractions, so included in our rate you can find the following services: Transfer to Olbia or Alghero Airports from the accomodation centre and return, Taxi 24h available for competitors and family members, from accommodation to the Cantine Santa Rita. Individual tournament fee 19 july Sardinian dinner, at LA PECORA NERA restaurant, just 5 minutes from the tounament location. Refreshment during the competition. All the offers have been tought for the tournament competitors, but it's possible to choose personalized offers for whom that will come with family. Group will be composed by 3 or 4 teams as previded by the FISTF HANDBOOK ORGANIZERS GUIDE. The first and the second team of the ranking for every group will be qualified for the second round (knockout). Team not qualified for the second round will play the consolation tournament. FISTF criteria will be applied to determine the rankings (in descending order): number of points obtained in the group direct match result number of matches won best goal difference higher number of goal scored It will be divide in two rounds: the first round with group and the second round with knockout.     COMUNI DELL’ANGLONA E GALLURA CHE ABBRACCIANO LA BASSA VALLE DEL COGHINAS VALLEDORIA Valledoria (fino al 1960 Codaruina , Codaruìna in gallurese e sassarese ) è un comune di 4.125 abitanti della provincia di Sassari , nell'antica regione dell' Anglona . Il paese si affaccia sul Golfo dell' Asinara , nei pressi della foce del fiume Coghinas . Il paese sorge sul sito dell’antico borgo romano di Codes , da cui deriva appellativo Codaruina . Nel medioevo fu sede della Diocesi di Ampurias , distrutta ripetutamente dai pirati barbari. Appartenuta al Giudicato di Torres e passato alla famiglia genovese dei Doria , dopo la conquista aragonese , la valle del Coghinas fu colpita da epidemie catastrofiche (secolo XV) che portarono allo spopolamento di queste terre. La ripresa demografica si ebbe, come del resto in tutta la bassa gallura , verso la metà dell’ Ottocento , grazie all’afflusso di famiglie galluresi da Aggius e Tempio Pausania che occuparono le vaste pianure deserte e fertilissime, dando vita all'insediamento di Codaruina, oggi Valledoria centro. Nel 1960 Codaruina si rese comune autonomo con il nome di Valledoria comprendendo le frazioni di La Muddizza, La Ciaccia, San Pietro, Baia Verde e Maragnani, il cui territorio era compreso nei comuni di Sedini e Castelsardo . Nel 1983 si è staccata la frazione di Santa Maria Coghinas divenuta comune autonomo. SANTA MARIA COGHINAS Santa Maria Coghinas (Cuzina in gallurese , Santa Maria Cutzinas in sardo ) è un comune di 1.439 abitanti della provincia di Sassari Il centro abitato sorge nella regione storica dell'Anglona , sulla riva occidentale del fiume Coghinas e ai piedi delle colline che delimitano la fertilissima valle alluvionale con una media di 2 m s.l.m.
