Th e localities cited are based on Agave palmeri Engelmann specimens from mountain ranges to the north and Brown Canyon, Th omas Canyon south of the Baboquivari Mountains that are rarely Agave parvifl ora Torrey subsp. parvifl ora distinguished. Although the fl oras of these four Brown Canyon ranges (Coyote, Quinlan, Baboquivari, and Pozo Agave schottii Engelmann Verde Mountains) overlap greatly, none are thor- Baboquivari Canyon, Brown Canyon oughly collected and studied. Th ere are probably Dasylirion wheeleri S. Watson species in the list that occur in some but not other Baboquivari Canyon, Brown Canyon ranges of these mountains.
