Sustainable Development 1.1 The Carmarthenshire Well-being Assessment (March 2017) looked at the economic, social, environmental and cultural wellbeing in Carmarthenshire through different life stages and provides a summary of the key findings. The findings of this assessment form the basis of the objectives and actions identified in the Draft Well-being Plan for Carmarthenshire. Network Rail should review the current arrangements for providing an indication to the train driver of the status of the crossing at Llandovery. This should include consideration of the practicability of providing an active indication when the crossing is still open to road traffic (e.g. a flashing red light).
