For DXers in the Northern US and Canada, the best thing about the month of April is that May follows it. April is a teaser. The weather can be warm like May leading us to think that we’ll turn on the TV to see some Es or tropo, but it doesn’t happen. Day after day goes by without a trace of anything. Weather doesn’t co-operate. Even the first half of May can be like that. But DX has to kick in sometime, so let’s just wait and see. In the meantime, make sure your gear is ready and in shape for when it finally happens.
