Munster Training in Crescent & Sports Fundraiser

On 23rd November Munster will be training in the school. Although the international stars not be there, we will see high quality players. Players such as James Downey, Casey Laulala, Doug Howlett will be on display. A Sports Fundraising Party will take place in Thomond Park on Saturday, November 24th. The school will be celebrating the sporting success of the past year and talking about the upcoming sporting year. A presentation will also be made to the B&I Lion, Irish international and Munster star David Wal- lace to celebrate his wonderful career and to mark is retirement. Bowen Shield Rugby

Bowen shield rugby has been very disappointing this year as the team lost every game they were involved in. Their final game was against St Clements away. The team badly wanted to win this game to avoid losing every game in the competition. Although Crescent played well for lots of the match and being ahead for lots of it, Clem- ents began to run away with the game, and the bad luck and form continued. Tries were scored by Sean Fitzgerald and Sean Naughton. Shane Eades converted one of them. The final score was 30-12. Hopefully this team can bounce back next season and be more successful.
