Tapered tip design on the 4F dilator and the 6F sheath provide smooth, atraumatic placement of guidewires up to .038”. The M•Drain® hydrophilic coated coaxial introducer system features a 21G/22G x 15 cm trocar or chiba needle to minimise tissue trauma. The needle has centimetre markings to approximate depth of insertion and an echogenic tip to enhance ultra- sound visibility. The set includes a 60 cm guidewire in either nitinol or stainless steel with curved tungsten gold plated tip for easy visualisation. Flexible tip for access to delicate or difficult areas. Access guidewires are designed specifically for non-vascular procedures. The .018” guidewires are available in stainless steel (stiff) and in nitinol version (flexible). The Amplatz® guidewires are manufactured with a coating technique offering a safe and flexible guidewire. The PTFE coating is applied by using the latest technology and assures a low friction surface. All guidewires are packed in a circular dispenser facilitating easy flushing of the guidewire.
