This mapping builds on the methodology outlined in Elbers et al. (2003) and innovates by including new methodological developments, the most important of which is described by Elbers and Van der Weide (2014). The results presented here allow better understanding of the regional inequalities in welfare across Albania and thus can help policy makers address them.
