Therefore, when it came time to pick a topic for my thesis, I naturally chose to write about the Middle East. Over the past four years and countless classes on Middle Eastern history and politics, I have always been drawn to Egyptian history. Learning about the countries complex and rich history have been some of my favorite parts of my Trinity education. I am immensely grateful that I had the opportunity to write a senior thesis on a topic I am so deeply passionate about.
