Tender Notice January, 2018 OFFICE OF THE DISTRICT COUNCIL, RAWALPINDI TENDER NOTICE Sealed percentage/item rate tenders are hereby invited for the following schemes/works from the approved enslited contractors who have got their names enlisted/renewed for the current Financial year 2017-2018 from any of MC/Municipal Corporation/District Council of Rawalpindi Division on following terms and conditions:- 1. In case of Limited Company the partnership deed will have to be presented before officials. 2. Registration receipt/letter of current year 2017-2018 must be submitted. 3. If the case the tender rates are below than 5%, the Performance Security will be received according to policy of the Government of the Punjab i.e 10% on contract amount in shape of CDR from schedule bank in the name of District Council, Rawalpindi. 4. From date of publication, the applications for issuance of tenders form will be received upto 29-12-2017 during office timmings alongwith tender fees amounting to Rs. 1000/- per tender form in the office of Head Clerk (I&S) branch, District Council, Rawalpindi. 05% Earnest Money in shape of Call Deposit (CDR) from the scheduled banks in name of District Council, Rawalpindi will also be received upto 29-12-2017. 5. Tender forms will be issued on 01-01-2018 upto 12:00PM. 6. 5% (Five percent) earnest money in shape of Call Deposit (CDR) from the scheduled banks in name of District Council, Rawalpindi should be accompanied with each tender form. 7. Tender forms will be received upto 01:00 PM on 01-01-2018 and will be opened at 02:00 PM in the presence of Tender Openning Committee and Contractors or their representatives in the office of District Council, Rawalpindi. 8. All the contractors will be bound to quote their rates in figures as well as in words. 9. Over writing, doubling, cutting, tempering, doubtful and incomplete tender forms will not be acceptable. 10. At the site of work installation of caution boards containing message regarding prevention against human, animals and financial loss will be the responsibility of contractor. 11.     Flood Emergency Reconstruction and Resilience Project (RRP PAK 49038) Project Administration Manual Project Number: 49038-001 Loan and Technical Assistance Numbers: {LXXXX; TAXXXX} June 2015 Islamic Republic of Pakistan: Flood Emergency Reconstruction and Resilience Project i Project Administration Manual Purpose and Process The project administration manual (PAM) describes the essential administrative and management requirements to implement the project on time, within budget, and in accordance with Government and Asian Development Bank (ADB) policies and procedures. The PAM should include references to all available templates and instructions either through linkages to relevant URLs or directly incorporated in the PAM. The executing and implementing agencies are wholly responsible for the implementation of ADB financed projects, as agreed jointly between the borrower and ADB, and in accordance with Government and ADB’s policies and procedures. ADB staff is responsible to support implementation including compliance by executing and implementing agencies of their obligations and responsibilities for project implementation in accordance with ADB’s policies and procedures. At Loan Negotiations the borrower and ADB shall agree to the PAM and ensure consistency with the Loan and Project agreements. Such agreement shall be reflected in the minutes of the Loan Negotiations. In the event of any discrepancy or contradiction between the PAM and the Loan and Project Agreements, the provisions of the Loan and Project Agreements shall prevail. After ADB Board approval of the project's report and recommendations of the President (RRP) changes in implementation arrangements are subject to agreement and approval pursuant to relevant Government and ADB administrative procedures (including the Project Administration Instructions) and upon such approval they will be subsequently incorporated in the PAM.
