Hello, my name is James Agee and I am from South Plainfield, NJ. I transferred to Rowan in the fall of 2015 after attending St. John’s University, which is located in Queens, NY, for my freshman year. I am a law and justice studies major with a minor in sociology. I am also a member of the Honor Society. I spend most of my time at the recreation center playing basketball or working out and enjoy watching sports. I am really looking forward to the opportunity to help and meet new people here at Rowan!

Arthur Bautista Junior Political Science Major [email protected] Hey guys! My name is Arthur but my friends call me by my second name, Andrew or Drew. I was born and raised in the Philippines, spent my first two semesters of college there until I transferred to Rowan in the fall of 2016. I am currently a junior majoring in Political Science and I am also the president of Rowan’s International Club. When I’m not in class, you’d most likely see me at International Center, where I work as a Student Worker. In my free time, when I’m not doing school work (which unfortunately doesn’t happen a lot), you’d probably see me playing Pokemon on my 3ds, or watching Netflix or any of my favorite tv shows: HTGAWM, Modern Family, The Crown, Quantico, to name a few. I’d love to meet new people! I am Majoring in history but also I am in the education program to become an elementary school teacher that has been my dream job ever since I was a child l. I am a very outgoing person and always willing to help when anyone is in need. Rowan is a wonderful campus and you can grow with the faculty staff and your friends at Rowan. I've learned that by attending Rowan you will gain the best friendships and that is the best feeling. My name is Jalls Civil. I am from Brooklyn, New York and I am a 19 year-old sophomore. I transferred from CUNY York College located in Jamaica-Queens, NY. Hi, my name is Molly Cronin I am currently a sophomore at Rowan University. I am from Reading Massachusetts and transferred to Rowan this past fall from Roger Williams University in Rhode Island. Before Rowan, I completed three semesters at Wilkes University and one semester at Mercer County Community College. At Rowan University, I am a member of the University's Women Soccer team, a member of PRSSA (a public relations group on campus) and induction committee chair and event specialist for Tau Sigma's Transfer Honor Society. Hi! My name is Lauren Finlayson and I'm from Pennington, NJ. I transferred to Rowan from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI. At JWU, I studied Baking and Pastry Arts. I came to Rowan to study Early Childhood Education and it was the best decision for me. At Rowan, I am involved in Sigma Alpha Lambda (SAL), which is a national leadership and honors organization. I have been part of many service projects through SAL. In my free time, I love to hang out with friends, bake, do arts and crafts, and meet new people.

My name is Saranda Karpuzi and I am a senior here at Rowan University. I transferred to Rowan University in the fall of 2015 from Rowan College at Gloucester County (RCGC). As a History major, I hope to one day become a teacher. I work as a Literacy Specialist at my current job where I help recent immigrants learn English and acclimate to American society and culture. As a transfer mentor here at Rowan University, I hope to use some of these skills learned at my job to help transfer students transition into their new school. Hello, my name is Teresa Mahler and I'm from Leonia, NJ. I am a sociology major with an applied sociology concentration. I actually transferred twice: from Providence College in Providence, RI, then I got my Associate's from . Even after two moves, I will still be graduating in four years, so I am a great example of how transfers can make the most of their time in school and keep on top of their credits. Here at Rowan, I am the secretary for Catholic Campus Ministry, a member of the Bantivoglio Honors Concentration and Alpha Kappa Delta (national sociology honor society), and the intern for the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, where I have helped with research and department development. In my free time, I love to do yoga, read, and hang out with my friends.

Hello, my name is Rob Marshall and I am from Hamilton, NJ. I completed two years at Mercer County Community College and transferred to Rowan University in the fall of 2015. I am a senior in health and physical education. At Rowan, I am a part of the HES Club, Tau Sigma, and multiple intramural teams. I attend many Rowan athletic events, such as baseball and women's soccer. I love to watch professional sports, especially the New York Yankees and Giants. The majority of my days I spend listening to music while doing schoolwork.

Danielle Miller Junior Communication Studies Major [email protected] My name is Danielle Miller, I am 24 years old and a junior here at Rowan. After high school, I attended community college off and on for about three and a half years, until I finally decided to take my education seriously and complete my Associate degree. By this time, I was 23 and extremely unsure of transferring to any four year school, feeling out of place with my age. When I made the decision to transfer for Rowan, it is so far the best decision of my life. I feel that I have a unique perspective on transferring and overcoming fears that held me back for so long. I am excited to help others, share knowledge, and be a part of other transfer student journeys. Transitioning can be overwhelming, but it's comforting knowing you're not alone and there are people like me who are more than willing to walk with you.

Hi! My name is David Miller! I'm from Cherry Hill, NJ, and I transferred to Rowan in the fall of 2013 from Camden Country College. I am a Senior Mathematics major with an anticipated graduation date of May 2017. I am apart of Rowan's Office of Student Activities, being involved in the Student University Programmers as well as working for Rowan After Hours. Along with that, I am a part of the Math Team at Rowan. I love everything to do with sports, and all kinds of pets. I love to travel, and my favorite food is sushi.

I am a biological sciences major looking to get into medical school when I graduate. My career goal is to become an orthopedic surgeon because I love helping others and have an interest in anatomy. I'm a Junior Early Childhood Education and Liberal Studies: Writing Arts/ American Studies Major. I just recently transferred to Rowan in fall 2016 after getting my Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Rowan College at Burlington County. In my free time I love to hang out with friends, write, watch Netflix, and going on adventures! My first semester here was amazing! Jamira Price Sophomore Exploratory Studies [email protected] Hi! My name is Jamira Price and I am from Williamstown, NJ. After attending Rowan College at Gloucester County for a semester, I decided to transfer to Rowan University to finish off my Freshman year. I am currently the secretary of New Life, a Christian organization on campus. I also enjoy being a student worker in the Campbell University library. I am an avid sports fan and lover of all things red. I do plan on spending a semester to study abroad.

My name is Brandon Selig and I’m from Germansville, PA. I transferred to Rowan in the spring of 2016. I’m a psychology major, presently. However, I transferred from Lehigh Carbon Community College where I was previously a nursing major. At Rowan, I am involved with Rowan University Emergency Medical Services and this is my first year as a Transfer Mentor. Outside of Rowan, I am a Volunteer Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician at Neffs Vol. Fire Co. I’m employed part-time as an Emergency Medical Technician at Cetronia Ambulance Corps. For many years, I was involved in the Boy Scouts of America, where I obtained the rank of Eagle Scout. I also am a 4-H alumni. During my time with 4-H, I completed yearly projects, such as raising dairy beef, sheep, and I participated in many leadership positions. My name is Mackenna Smith. I am from Mullica Hill, New Jersey and I am a 19 year-old sophomore. I transferred from in South Orange, NJ just outside of Newark. I am currently pursuing a degree in law and justice. On campus I am involved in Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship, the Catholic Campus Ministry, the Petey Greene Prisoner Assistance Program, and Rowan University College Republicans. Off campus, I enjoy crafting, crocheting, coaching the Kingsway Elite Senior cheerleading team, and hanging out with my friends and family. Hi friends, I’m Dave! Going into my fifth year of school, Rowan is the 5th college I’ve been to and hopefully my last. Majoring in Finance I hope to be a Financial Advisor after graduation, though in the mean time I am just a teller for TD Bank. When not at school or work I try to be outside as much as possible. Whether that means backpacking, fishing, or just hanging out at the shore reading, I try to not be inside. Always open to new experiences and willing to talk to anyone, I am here to help, give advice, or just talk.

Jamie Walder Junior Computer Science Major [email protected] Hi, I’m Jamie, I come from Vineland New Jersey where I attended Cumberland County College. I transferred to Rowan University in fall 2016. I am a computer science major and I love every bit of it. Here at the college, I am a member of the Association for Computing Machinery and the Japanese culture club. In my spare time, I play video games, go on nature walks, and try to learn as many things as I can about history and astronomy.

I enjoy reading, working out, and binge watching Netflix, hanging out with my friends, the beach and playing board games (I am very serious about Monopoly!). Angela Zirino Senior Public Relations Major Human Resource Management Minor [email protected]

I am a public relations and advertising dual major with a minor in human resource management. I transferred to Rowan University my sophomore year and I will be graduating in spring 2017. I live in Holmdel, New Jersey which is about an hour and a half from Rowan but I consider this my home away from home. I am involved in PRaction, PRSSA, Delta Phi Epsilon, Lambda Pi Eta and Order of Omega. This summer I was the Learning & Organizational Development intern at one of the largest global apparel companies in the world, PVH Corp. I look forward to helping incoming students find their passion and introduce them to new clubs and activities on campus!

Hello Everyone! My name is Marissa. I’m an intern for Rowan’s Transfer Services. I started at Rowan in 2011 as an undergraduate student. While I was in undergrad, I majored in Sociology and minored in Anthropology. I was involved with Greek Life, Alpha Kappa Delta Honor Society, and the Gay/Straight Alliance (which has since been replaced by Prism and True Colors). I decided to stay at Rowan for graduate school because of the atmosphere at Rowan and because of the programs offered by the graduate school. My graduate program is Higher Education with a concentration in Administration. Outside of academics, I enjoy volunteering, reading, knitting, playing videogames and listening to music. My favorite genres of music are punk rock and electronica. I am looking forward to a fun, productive semester!
