Overview of Key G20 Engagement Groups G20 is an important global forum that promotes multilateralism through constructive debates, discussions, and dialogues. In past 10 years, G20 at the Leaders’ Summit level has gained more acceptance and the scope of its agenda has widened significantly. In addition to issues of economic growth, financial stability, and international financial architecture, G20 has gradually covered development issues including Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the recent years. Besides the contributions by Finance and Sherpa Tracks led by the host governments, G20 process has benefitted enormously from the inputs provided by different Engagement Groups such as T20, B20, S20, W20, C20, among others. The three engagement groups of T20, B20 and S20 representing three important pillars of G20 agenda hold great relevance. In a holistic sense, T20 for academics and scholars, B20 for business leaders and entrepreneurs and S20 for scientific fraternity and innovators together in the G20 countries have been representing the critical intellectual mass of G20 manifested in series of policy recommendations, reports, policy briefs and other forms of publications.
