Your child will never be the only new camper in their bunk New campers always have others in their bunk who arrive not knowing anyone and we help them settle in right away. Regardless of which session you attend, new campers will also be arriving the same day!
Location, Location, Location Long Lake is the only Arts camp in the world located in the heart of the beautiful and awe-inspiring Adirondack Park. As a former private estate we offer a home-like feel with modern housing, beautiful cedar-lined bathrooms and stunning lake views. Our weather is perfect; comfortable days and cool nights. Our lake is a warm 76ºF for boating and swimming fun. Long Lake campers appreciate waking up every day surrounded by our one-of-a-kind location.
Ages Long Lake accepts boys and girls ages 8 to 16 from all around the world. All our 16-year olds are returners. We have campers from more than 40 different states in America and over 20 countries. This creates a diverse and culturally rich community to make lasting friendships. We do not accept any 17- or 18-year olds as campers or staff. They are not suitable for children’s camp.
3rd Session We offer a 3-week session in August that is perfect for getting your children mentally and physically ready for school. For many years parents have told us that their camper’s schedule at camp is a perfect match for getting them ready to go to school. Their minds are active and engaged and ready to learn and the transition back to school is much easier.
