The concert Nowowiejski, Thomas Aberg and Polish closed with a Polish Christmas carol, Mediaeval masters. The performers performed by all the artists and the included: Krzysztof Penderecki, violist public. Let us also mention that the Wojciech Pławner, organist Robert concert was organized by the JU Rector, Grudzień, the Beethoven Academy JU Academic Choir and the Club of JU Orchestra, conducted by Marcin Graduates. Sawicz NEW YEAR’S CONCERT AT JU A gala event, which was highlighted by the presence of Krzysztof Penderecki, took place at the Jagiellonian University on 24 January 2006. The New Year’s Concert was held in Auditorium J. Sawicz CONCERT OF INTERNATIONAL CHOIR FRANKFURT AT JU Within the framework of Days of Frankfurt am Main in Krakow, International Choir Frankfurt, consisting of 60 people, gave a concert in the aula of Collegium Novum of the Jagiellonian University on 1 April 2006. The programme of the concert consisted of: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart ‘Ave verum corpus’ KV618, Felix Mendelssohn- Bartholdy ‘Geistliches Lied ‘Lass, o Herr mich Hülfe finden…’ ‘Herr, wir trau’n auf deine Güte...’ and the Hymn‚ ‘Hör mein Bitten, Herr, neige dich...’, Anton Bruckner‚ Locus iste C Major, and Antonin Dvořák, Mass in D Major, opus 86. Days of Frankfurt were part of the Polish-German Year. It is also worth mentioning that Frankfurt and Krakow are partner cities. J. Sawicz M.
