Dear friends, What an amazing time in the fight for equality. We are building a politically powerful movement for equality across Oregon - and across the U.S. We made historic strides in all three of our program areas last year, and we are already hard at work building on our successes. We’re busy travelling the state, but wanted to drop you a line to update you on the important work being done toward marriage equality, racial justice and transgender justice. Mail To: 2012 is shaping up to be a politically divisive year. We need your continued support to maintain a presence across Supporters of Equality Oregon as we work to advance equality and counter efforts to divide communities. Everytown, Oregon Please read about the accomplishments of the past year and keep in touch to be a part of our ongoing work. Yours in solidarity, Jeana BASIC RIGHTS OREGON 2011 ANNUAL REPOR T Cover art by Ben Brown Jr. Our Mission: to ensure that all lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Oregonians experience equality by building a broad and politically powerful movement, shifting public opinion, and achieving policy victories.
