PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION AT THE CBC Population: 273.149 Inhabitants Municipality: 12 Bugojno, Busovača, Dobratići, Donji Vakuf, Fojnica, Gornji Vakuf- Uskoplje, Jajce, Kreševo, Novi Travnik, Travnik i Vitez PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION AT THE CBC •There are 8 pre-schools - public institutions, whose founder is the State within 12 municipalities •Travnik, Jajce, Bugojno, Novi Travnik, Vitez, Fojnica, Donji Vakuf & Kreševo. PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION AT THE CBC •Within these 12 municipalities - there are 5 private pre-school institutions. •Travnik, Bugojno, Novi Travnik, Busovača and Kiseljak. THE RESEARCH WAS CONDUCTED AMONG 5 STAKEHOLDERS Children Local administration staff and policy makers Educators Academic staff Parents •The study among all stakeholders was carried out by the Faculty of Education. The expert team distributed printed and electronic surveys to the respondents including all the instructions which indicated the main aim and the purpose of the project to be realized. •The excellent cooperation between our University and the Ministry of Education has been established. After being informed about the research goals, the Ministry supported our activities and supported the implementation of the "TEACHER" project by participating in the research. •The respondents supported the project with their willingness to respond to the questions, and agreed that high-quality pre-school education is most important for the proper development of the child's personality with all the characteristics . •Majority of the respondents agreed that pre-school education is of great importance not only for preschool institutions but also for local administrations, relevant ministries and all groups involved in any way in the pre-school education system. 5 STAKEHOLDERS PARTICIPATED IN THE RESEARCH Research among three stakeholders (children, parents, educators)was conducted in 2 municipalities: Travnik and Novi Travnik - 30 children participated in the study conducted by the Faculty of Education. - 20 pre-school teachers particpated in the study - 23 parents of pre-school children participated in the study RESEARCH WAS CONDUCTED AMONG TEACHING STAFF AT THE FACULTY OF EDUCATION • Research was conducted among academic staff (professors and assistants) at the Faculty of Education University of Travnik Professors Assistants 0 2 4 6 8 10 12 14 RESEARCH AMONG LOCAL AUTHORITIES AND POLICY MAKERS • The research was conducted among local authorities and policy makers in the area of 2 Cantons – Central Bosnia Canton and Zenica –Doboj Canton. Department of Department of Social Department of Social Education in the Services of General Affairs and General Local Government Ministry of Education Administration) and Social Administration Services (Travnik) Services (Municipality of (Municipality of of the Central Bosnia Novi Travnik) Zavidovici) Canton CONCLUSION The educators from pre-school institutions that were included in the research indicated that state of preschool education in our environment (the Central Bosnia Canton area) implies that: - preschool is not obligatory in CBC, - another difficult issue is social status of parents (finances), - many pre-school institutions do not meet basic hygienic, ecological, communal and other conditions. • To put you in the picture and present the actual state of pre- school institutions in our environment (Central Bosnia Canton), we would quote one of the respondents from the relevant Ministry on a similar issue, who says: "Around 80% of pre-school institutions do not meet the requirements of Law. Institutions only tend to watch over the children while their parents are at work. Some institutions were defined as "institutions that partly fulfilled their task" due to the fact that those preschool institutions are not adequately equipped according to Pedagogical standards, their spatial conditions is poor, they have insufficient staff, insufficient financial support from founders, small income of children especially in rural areas, no new law on pre-schooling has been passed, etc. " Thank you for attention. Bosnia and Herzegovina This study was done with an aim to determine the level of the actual costs, which must have each small and medium business company when start their operations in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It contains the defined costs for the business registration itself, and for construction of a facility where the registered activity will be performed. The data published in this study were collected through the survey conducted in all municipalities in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in July 2001. After summarizing all collected data, it was determined that there are few identical forms and approaches to the same category of the costs that a small and medium size business company can have as a precondition for starting its normal work.

Momcilo KRAJISNIK, son of Sreten and Milka (née Spiric) was born on 20 January 1945 in Zabrdje, municipality of Novi Grad, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was a leading member of the Serbian Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina ("SDS") and he served on a number of SDS bodies and committees. On 12 July 1991, Momcilo KRAJISNIK was elected to the Main Board of the SDS. He was President of the Assembly of Serbian People in Bosnia and Herzegovina ("Bosnian Serb Assembly") from 24 October 1991 until at least November 1995. He was a member of the National Security Council of the Bosnian Serb Republic and from the beginning of June 1992 until 17 December 1992, he was a member of the expanded Presidency of the Bosnian Serb Republic. 2. Biljana PLAVSIC, daughter of Svetislav, was born on 7 July 1930 in Tuzla, Tuzla municipality, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She was a leading member of the SDS from the period of its establishment in Bosnia and Herzegovina. From 18 November 1990 until April 1992, Biljana PLAVSIC was a member of the collective Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
