It also provides details of housing completions over the last 2 years and a summary of completions over previous years. Methodology This 2014 report details remaining net capacity on permissions as at 31/03/2011 (Table A); those permissions that have subsequently lapsed in 2011/12 & 2012/13 have been removed Permissions granted 2011/12 / 2012/13 & 2013/14 are set out (Tables B / C / D). Capacity is net of proposed losses due to demolitions and conversion etc. Capacity on permissions substituting previous permissions has also been netted off (Reserved Matters, Extensions of time, Substitutions of house types, Replacement applications) Housing completions in 2011/12 and 2012/13 and 2013/14 are set out (Tables H / I / J) (Council Tax data). The figures are net of demolitions, conversions etc. Current Borough-wide net capacity on permissions is established by adding remaining net capacity from 2011 to new net capacity from 2012 & 2013 & 2014 and deducting net completions for 2011/12 & 2012/13 & 2013/14 (A+B+C+D – (H+i+J) = current permissions capacity Capacity figures for individual sites (especially those from 2011) will not always therefore reflect the 2011 position because of completions on those sites in 2011- 2014 but the Borough-wide capacity figure properly takes account of completions. Completions prior to this date have been deducted on a site-by-site basis. The planning stage refers to the current planning stage as at 31/03/2014. Where net remaining capacity is 0 this reflects an application where demolitions etc. resulted in no net gain. Where a subsequent replacement permission (reserved matters, extension of time etc.) has wholly superseded a permission from this period it appears in the Table for that year but where a subsequent replacement permission has replaced just part of the site (e.g. a reserved matters on part of an outline such as at Manor Farm) then the capacity of the remaining permission has been adjusted in this Table to reflect this whilst the new permission appears in a Table for a later year. The Register provides an Wannual snapshot of historic sites known to be at risk from neglect, decay or inappropriate development. Nationally, there are more barrows on the Register than any other type of site. The main risk to their survival is ploughing. The good news is that since 2014 we have reduced the number of barrows at risk by over 130, by working with owners and, in particular, Natural England to improve their management. This picture is repeated in Yorkshire, where the greatest concentration of barrows at risk is in the rich farmland of the Wolds.

During this period the country was being subjected to another lockdown due to the COVID 19 pandemic. However, the planning enforcement team continued to operate by working from home and undertaking site visits by adopting a safe system of working. Unfortunately, internal site inspections were not allowed based on potential exposure to Covid symptoms and the Governments “Lockdown” rules. Case Updates – Fourth Quarter (1st January – 31st March 2021) Total Cases Still Under Investigation as at end of March 2021. 281 Total Cases Recorded in the Fourth Quarter (1st January – 31st March 153 2021). On 19th February 2021, the Council received notice of the unauthorised felling of trees protected by Tree Preservation Orders (TPO) and a wall being built along the front garden boundary of 42 Bawtry Road. The Planning Enforcement Team decided the most appropriate course of action was to issue a simple caution in respect to felling two protected trees. The owner has signed the caution admitting to the offence and agreeing to replace the trees in the front garden. The owner and their contractor have been informed that the new wall exceeds permitted development rights.
