14. MR. ASFANDYAR WALI, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs to present the report of the Standing Committee on the Bill to provide for preservation, protection and assertion of sovereignty of Pakistan [The Sovereignty of Pakistan Bill, 2010].

15. DR. DONYA AZIZ, MNA to move that the Bill to prohibit certain practices leading to exploitation and discrimination against womenfolk [The Prevention of Anti-Women Practices (Criminal Law Amendment) Bill, 2008], as reported by the Standing Committee, be taken into consideration at once.

CONSIDERATION OF AMENDMENT TO THE RULES OF PROCEDURE AND CONDUCT OF BUSINESS IN THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY, 2007.

17. MS. NIGHAT PARVEEN MIR to move that the following amendment in the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the National Assembly, 2007, as reported by the Standing Committee, be taken into consideration at once.

AMENDMENT IN RULE 239.- In sub-rule (1) of rule 239 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the National Assembly, 2007, the words “in consultation with the Minister concerned” occurring in the third and fourth lines shall be omitted.

18. MS. NIGHAT PARVEEN MIR, to move that the proposed amendment in the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the National Assembly, 2007, be adopted. RESOLUTIONS 19. MS. “This House Strongly condemns the desecration of Holy Quran in Florida, U.S.A by an American Pastor, Terry Jones and also calls upon the United Nations to take instant notice of the incident and get exemplary punishment awarded to the said Pastor.”

20. MS. QUDSIA ARSHAD to move the following resolution: - “This House is of the opinion that the Government should take steps to bring down the prices of all types of cars being manufactured in the country particularly the small ones.” - 3 - 21. MIAN MARGHOOB AHMAD to move the following resolution: - “This House is of the opinion that the Government should take steps to stop India from building dames on Pakistani rivers.” 22. DR. NAHID SHAHID ALI to move the following resolution: - “This House is of the opinion that the Government should take steps to abolish the condition of “B, Form” in respect of issuance of National Identity Cards to waifs.”

23. MR.
