Urena learned how to cut hair from his father, who he’s named after, and a YouTuber named 360 Jeezy. When his dad taught him to cut hair, he knew the basics and how to do simple styles. Then when he started geting more customers and his clients were requesting more complex hair cuts, he needed more guidance. That’s when he turned to YouTube and found 360 Jeezy, a professional barber. Urena watched many videos and practiced a lot, and now he can do almost any haircut a person might ask for. Currently Urena mostly does boys’ hair, but he would be open to having girl customers too. His favorite hair-cut style is the low taper, which is a type of fade. The low taper gradually gets shorter from the botom to the top. Urena likes this style because it is fast and easy to do, but it also looks really nice. Urena cuts hair in his garage, and he has around 30-35 clients that come regularly, mostly high school students and adults that work at Dakota Provisions. His pricing start at $15 per person. He also ofers eyebrow and beard trimmings for $20 and $25 along with the hair cut. If you would like to make an appointment with Urena, call him at (605)354-2389, or schedule on the Booksy website.
