Congratulations go out to the CHS Honor Orchestra and CHS Philharmonic Orchestra that competed in the Region 29 UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Evaluation (February 27th and 28th). Both orchestras earned the Sweepstakes title. All six judges gave the Honor Orchestra One in both the Concert and Sight- Reading portions of the contest. The Philharmonic also earned One in the Concert Portion.

The last time that CHS has two orchestras compete was in 2016. After four years and for the first time, the second orchestra gets all One on Stage.

I am extremely proud of all these musicians, they all worked extremely hard for the last months; all the effort paid off. Honor Orchestra UIL 2020 Sweepstakes
