A record of Plectropomus maculatus (Bloch 1790) (Serranidae) from Grande Terre, New Caledonia is confirmed. This paper also includes new depth records of Zenion longipinnis, Plectranthias rubrifasciatus, Synagrops philippinensis, Centrodraco ornatus and Draconetta xenica.
