This association is the significant school-accrediting agency in the New England states. The combination of the course offerings in the two upper secondary schools provides high school youth of Quincy an opportunity to select from a comprehensive list of curriculum offerings to meet the needs of their secondary school educational goals. The curriculum of both North Quincy High School and Quincy High School is an open curriculum. All subjects are open to all students who meet current prerequisite standards. The choice of course sequence and subjects for each year is a most important matter. Experienced administrators, guidance personnel, and teachers are willing to provide programming advice. Final decisions are made by the student with the consent and approval of their parent or guardian provided that current prerequisite standards have been met.
