Was geschieht in unserem Club? Herzlichst Ihr/Euer Manfred Just 5 MERCATO AUKTIONSERGEBNISSE 4/2014 – 4/2015 (inkl. Aufgeld, aber ohne MwSt.) Typ Bj. Levante. The Maserati of SUVs. Maserati has a history of naming its vehicles after the world’s most powerful winds. It started in 1963 with the legendary Mistral. Then came Ghibli, Bora and Khamsin. In 2016, Levante joined the illustrious Maserati range. The wind that bears its name blows across the Mediterranean and can change from benign calm to gale force in an instant. The Levante SUV has a similar nature, although its powerful forces always remain perfectly under your control. In true Maserati grand touring tradition, the Levante offers everything you would expect of a Maserati – from snarling responsiveness to effortless long-distance refinement. At the same time, its dramatic SUV proportions are balanced with graceful lines and muscular forms that convey its dynamic purpose. The restyled signature front Trident grille is even more imposing on the elevated dimensions of the Levante. In the rear, the taillamps with a bold new “boomerang” shape is inspired by the legendary Maserati 3200 GT designed by Giugiaro, and are created with state-of-the art 3K injection moulding technology that gives them a three-colour lens. Inside, Levante exudes signature Maserati character. Its elegant Italian style, meticulously crafted finishes and race-bred power inspire long-distance, luxurious travel. A redesigned instrument cluster and a new 8.4-inch frameless HD screen with Maserati Intelligent Assistant (MIA) multimedia system, which makes your driving experience even more intuitive and engaging. The ultimate combination of leading on-road performance and off-road capabilities offers a choice of V6 and powerful V8 engines. Prepare for exhilarating performance on any terrain, with the elegance and comfort of a prestigious grand tourer.

In concept, this book started life as a Provenance. As such, it set about to verify the date, location and driver history of the sixth Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa produced, serial number 0718. Many an automotive author has generously given of his time and ink to write about the many limited series competition cars to come from Maranello individually and as a whole. The 250 TR has been often and lovingly included. Much has been scholastic in its veracity, some, adding myth to the legend. After a year's investigation on 0718, and many more on Ferrari's operation, the author has here constructed a family photo album, with interwoven narrative. The narrative is the story that came forward from the author's investigation and richly illustrative interviews conducted into 0718 specifically. To provide a deeper insight into the 250 TR itself we delve into the engineering transformation within Maranello that resulted in the resurrection of the competition V-12 engine, the unique (to the firm at that point) chassis it was placed in, and a body design that gave visual signature to this 1958 customer sports racer. From these elements was composed the publication you now hold. It is the Provenance of a Ferrari, that became the telling of a fifty-year-old mystery, red herrings and all. Twice before, from 1963 to 1970 and from 1986 to 1992, México City has been the scene of exciting World Championship races. We enjoy a proud heritage in the sport: from the early brilliance of the Rodríguez brothers, the sterling efforts of Moisés Solana and Héctor Rebaque to the modern achievements of Esteban Gutíerrez and Sergio Pérez, Mexican drivers have carved their own names in the history of the sport. A few of you may have been here before. You will find many things the same – yet different. Ludvigsen papers, 1905-2011. Archival Collection 26 Title: Karl E. Ludvigsen papers, 1905-2011. Creator: Ludvigsen, Karl E. Call Number: Archival Collection 26 Quantity: 931 cubic feet (514 flat archival boxes, 98 clamshell boxes, 29 filing cabinets, 18 record center cartons, 15 glass plate boxes, 8 oversize boxes). Abstract: The Karl E. Ludvigsen papers 1905-2011 contain his extensive research files, photographs, and prints on a wide variety of automotive topics. The papers reflect the complexity and breadth of Ludvigsen’s work as an author, researcher, and consultant. Approximately 70,000 of his photographic negatives have been digitized and are available on the Revs Digital Library. Thousands of undigitized prints in several series are also available but the copyright of the prints is unclear for many of the images. Ludvigsen’s research files are divided into two series: Subjects and Marques, each focusing on technical aspects, and were clipped or copied from newspapers, trade publications, and manufacturer’s literature, but there are occasional blueprints and photographs. Some of the files include Ludvigsen’s consulting research and the records of his Ludvigsen Library. Scope and Content Note: The Karl E. Ludvigsen papers are organized into eight series. The series largely reflects Ludvigsen’s original filing structure for paper and photographic materials. Series 1. Subject Files [11 filing cabinets and 18 record center cartons] The Subject Files contain documents compiled by Ludvigsen on a wide variety of automotive topics, and are in general alphabetical order.

We took a proven racing engine developedA for use in our competition cars, mated it with a beautifully designed luxury sedan, and presented our creation to the world at the Turin Motor Show. This was our first Quattroporte—and the reception from the public, press and automotive connoisseurs was rapturous. The excitement was understandable. Until then, Maserati was renowned for its formidable motorsports pedigree, glamorous coupes and striking convertibles. This was new. This was the world’s first supersedan. The Quattroporte met a particular need for a group of discerning motorists. Back then, Europe’s emerging network of motorways opened up thrilling possibilities for long-distance journeys. With the Quattroporte, grand touring became an experience to be savored—at high speeds, in spacious comfort and in breathtaking Maserati style. In today’s Maserati Quattroporte, the principles remain much the same. The Quattroporte offers race-bred power from Ferrari-built V6 and V8 engines, while a long wheelbase offers a spacious, elegantly crafted interior of supreme luxury. Every comfort and convenience is provided, from hand-stitched premium Italian Pieno Fiore natural leather to cutting-edge Advanced Driving Assistance Systems, including Highway Assist.
